I made an appointment a week ago with Tom at 11 o'clock today. I got there at 1055 waited until 11:20, Asked when Tom would do my manicure and pedicure. The woman in the front cubicle said Tom not here today.
I asked why no one called me she didn't answer me. She said Jimmy will do for you. After a few minutes I said how long is Jimmy going to be. She said 35 minutes. That was an hour after my 11 o'clock appointment with Tom who didn't show up and no one bothered to call me to reschedule. Worst customer service you will ever ever receive. If I could write a −10 I would.

I visited Star nails about 2.5 weeks ago while visiting from NYC. I am so pleased with my experience. I called ahead of time, got scheduled right away. There was no one else in the establishment besides employees which was a nice change of pace from the places I frequent in NYC. I have been getting SNS dip powder sets a lot recently and when I arrived at Star Nails, I had some chipping and partially covered nails from a week or so prior and the process they used to remove the powder was SIGNIFICANTLY more diligent than any I’ve seen before. Literally cut the time to remove the polish and repaint in half. Also, being a bartender, my nails get exposed to chemicals and water a lot, which normally results in chipping or broken nails and much to my surprise, this set is on 2.5 weeks and still hasn’t cracked at all. I can tell my nail is growing underneath as well based on the cuticle. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back when I’m back in town.

This is my favorite nail salon in Westminster Maryland! Through the years I have tried many of them and have either just put up with rude nail technicians and not getting what I would want. But I absolutely love this family owned business. I have never been displeased. You do need to make an appointment if interested in going here.. So do keep that in mind if you are interested.
