I would recommend this facility. They were wonderful, I've learned a lot of things that helped me and I truly didn't want to leave. I didn't meet anyone that wasn't loving and caring. If you have a loved one that needs rehab after a hospital visit there's no better place than here. Therapy was so helpful in my recovery, the nurses are so hardworking and i always felt like i was in good hands. Both departments worked so hard together to get me back home. I'm so thankful for everyone.

Do NOT use this facility!! my loved one was incontinent but could also use the bathroom. she was told just to go in her diaper. It is understaffed and some employees actually got angry with us for asking for a bedpan or to use the bathroom. She was not treated with respect and complained that some people were rough with her and hateful. It was usual to wait for someone to come at least 20min or more when she put on the call light. They dragged their feet for 8 days before discharging her when I told them she was leaving to go to another facility.

If you care about your family members in the slightest don’t send them here. If you want them to have awful unexplained wounds, be left covered in food, sure, send them here but only if you’re comfortable living with the guilt. Wish someone warned my family.

1 star is more than this place deserves. My father in law came home today from what we thought was going to be a stress free weekend to recharge & a have a break from being his constant caregivers for the last 6yrs. Instead, it turned into my husband having to pick his dad up due to transportation error (that's another issue). So when my husband walked into his dad's room, staff seemed to be rushing to dress him, and my husband noticed that's his mat had stains that were either feces or dried blood from backside sores. Because the staff failed to apparently not only read our care note, but also failed to review the full care notation his personal nurse stored into there system on how & what was the proper care for him. My father in law has severe dementia/alzheimers and is completely dependent. My father in law was not bathed, was dehydrated, possible pink eye that we had to get emergency meds for, and when my husband asked about his dad's feeding. The staff simply replied he was marked as fully fed. In which my husband asked if someone fed him because he can't do it himself. And the response from the staff was that they didn't have the staffing for that. So 4 days in respite care and we aren't even sure how much he got to eat. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! My father in law literally looked like death when my husband got him home. Never again in this place. NEVER AGAIN!!

My dad has been in and out of the hospital and care facilities for eight months. This is one of the the best facilities he has been to. The staff is polite and helpful, they provide regular updates on his care and condition and above all it is clean and well maintained.

No doubt why this place has terrible reviews. As a independent contractor who delivers medicine to patients from the pharmacy, these people need a way better system to receive their patients meds..Someone commented about they have service from the 3rd world. Pretty much it is. Zero consideration for others. Terrible nurse service. Pharmacy front service is the worst ever. This place should be closed. Not only for this "complaint" but read from the other ones, there's a reason why.

I have had good experience with the management and staff. They have kept me very informed of my mother. They are awesome ?. They are always available if I have a question or concern. My mother has Alzheimer’s and Dementia and they work great with her. They are very caring with my mother. Westminster Healthcare Center is very clean and they take all the necessary precautions with Covid.

Awful place; I'd recommend tossing your loved one off a cliff before placing them in this facility. Unfortunately, my loved one (suffering from Alzheimer's) had to be committed during the early stages of COVID. This facility was the only one that would take him. In my opinion, this facility only looks at its residents as a slab of meat that they can charge $4,000+ a month to provide what they call "medical care". Within the first 60 days in the facility, they lost my loved one's glasses and dentures. Six months later the facility claimed they replaced his glasses although I never saw my loved one wearing them, I don't know if they ever actually did. There were times when I would go to visit my loved one and the staff would bring him outside wearing no shoes on the hot concrete; other times he would be wearing shoes with his laces undone and flopping around (he was 74 and had Alzheimer's). It became obvious how little the facility actually cared about my loved one early on, it's sad. I pray your loved one never has to be admitted to this facility as mine did. Oh also my loved one passed away in April 2022 and I'm still receiving automated COVID test updates phone calls from the facility, Westminster can't even be bothered to take my number off the call list....The outsourced hospice team "bridging life hospice" was very nice and caring I'd recommend them to anyone.

This place filled their staff up from the third world so they don’t have to pay Americans a living wage. Hire cheap labor, get the service you pay for. Bed sores, missed meals, and locked down like prison. The happiest resident there told me he was used to doing time in jail, so he didn’t mind the treatment.

It has been a year now since my precious mother's harrowing experience at Westminster Healthcare Center. We utilized their services so that my sister, the main caretaker of my mother- could take a quick vacation. We will always regret choosing to do this. A few days in, I received a frantic call from my daughter saying there was a bruise and open wound on my mother's arm that had not been tended to. I went there immediately and mom told me that two of the workers grabbed her and threw her into the bed because she was too slow! Then they left her injured and bloody.Once I arrived, they immediately sent someone in to clean and bandage the wound. I reported this as high up as I could go and we also called the police and got them involved so that it became a state issue. We took her home that day. Yes, my mother was 92 and yes she had frail skin- but none of her other caretakers- and there were several of us- ever injured her! The worse part is that mom had mental and emotional problems after this traumatic event and then was afraid of some of her home helpers. We should have taken legal action, but even though treated cruelly- she sill didn't want to pursue. I believe out of fear of retaliation. She was afraid in her home after this event. DO NOT send anyone you care about to this GOD AWFUL Place.

I called to visit a family member that has been placed in this facility. I'm not from MD so had to get a ride from another state. Arrive only to be told rules had changed, as well as visiting times! Then they went and told my family member that I was there which made her cry because they wouldn't allow me to see her! She is in her 90s! She fell, shes in pain and then the staff to make her cry. What outstanding customer service.

One star is more then they deserve. My mom is has been there for 3 months for rehabilitation and has yet to receive it. The staff treats her like she’s a number instead of a person with feelings. She calls me about being mistreated and neglected,, sad for a person who is right in her mind,, makes me wonder what is happening to the ones who are demented. I’d bring her home in a heartbeat if she could walk but without physical therapy, I can’t. She went from 80lbs to 60lbs in 3 months. She has had money stolen from her and her personal belongings are missing. I’ve called on numerous occasions with everyone acting concerned until I hang up the phone. I requested a one on one with the director of nursing today,, go figure, she’s busy and will call me tomorrow at some point, I asked what time frame and she said I can’t give you that. I work full time and needed to know a time frame because I want my mother included in the conversation. She was hard to understand and was quite snippy from what I could understand from her. I’m going to see what I get as results tomorrow or I suggest taking this to legal matter. There’s no reason for my mom to be constipated for days, treated unkindly and to have her things come up (missing). I wonder why these places are allowed to operate. All the gifts I bought her are probably going to come up missing because the staff is ignorant and could care less about my mom. Most complain about even being there!!! Why be there if you hate taking care of real people with real people. I expect to speak to the producer of the ITeam whom is a close friend of mine. They will be exposed for their negligence!

I would ask how you wind up having to pay 11,944 in fines, but I worked here and I can take a few really good guesses as to how the residents who wind up with bed sores that go neglected might feel. or medicine not being delivered even 50% of the time on time. Some of the things I saw here made me question the moral compass of the people who run this place. The happiest residents were both ex cons who didn't have a problem with doing time. Avoid this place at all costs.
