I don't know about this particular branch but Bank of America is absolutely the worst bank you can possibly have an account with. It spends literally billions of dollars on every woke cause under the sun but has the worst customer service operation of any entity I have ever dealt with. It's disgraceful, under-funded and under-staffed. I've had my accounts there for 31 years and am a "premium" customer. Yet, I have spent the last hour trying to get a live person. This has been persistent for several years now and I plan on moving my accounts to a different bank. The worst. If I could give it less than a one star rating I would.

Always too many people waiting in line. Only 1 or 2 counters open. If you are planning on coming here expect to wait more than 20 minutes. Wish BOA opened other locations. Busy location but way less assistance.

One of the worst banks that I have been to if you need to get money from a teller they could care less . 5 people behind the glass yet only 3 windows in use . 3 people in offices who definitely have teller training but yet your line wait time will most likely surpass 20 minutes . Just font bother if your in a rush . I would really like to see another bank in this area considering that the people here are more concerned about socializing than actually efficiently serving the community . For privacy sake I won't share the picture but a teller is literally walking around with a customers child and showing the babe to everyone . Now if your in a rush and got stuff to do seeing this will 100% kill your mood . Please trust that this letter will be sent to corporate as well .

From the very beginning, I received nothing but rudeness from JACKIE. She huffed and puffed the entire time she processed my payment. She had to request help from a co-worker, and Jackie didn't even thank her. Jackie just looked like a nasty person. This branch seriously needs to invest time in training tellers how to properly do their job and on customer service. Hey Jackie, if you hate your job that much get a new one!

This is a huge bank of America building . It has a good sized parking places . Inside it has 8-10 teller windows but limited staff sometimes behind there and the lines get too big and sometimes have to wait for sometime to get helped But I know they can be better . They have deposit slip desks in middle of the place and they have 6 management desks to help people in need but must have appointments to do so from time to time . But I would like to suggest to have coffee and doughnuts for those that come in there to make them feel more at home on fridays and saturdays like other banks . It has a huge security vault for safety deposit boxes . Outside it has a ATM machine that needs better security than just video cameras to prevent crime . Plus they have a Double drive through windows . It needs police surveillance in that area to keep crime low there . Plus they need better firewalls on their computers so hacker and scammers do not get to anyone personal information when having people for customers . That is one of the most things that banks will not or refuse to guarantee anyone . I have no idea as to why . They need better security on their computers and ATM machines To prevent identity thefts and crimes from occuring . So come on down to bank of American In Wheaton ,MD and get an experience I hope you will not soon forget , Even though I see some that didn't have great experiences but give them a second chance to be better . They look forward to seeing all of you very soon on your next adventure visit there .

I used to frequently come to this bank. The lady at the drive up window was rude and irritated that I used to ask for a pen to sign my checks... You work at a bank. That is your job. Suck it up and do your job. One day she had the audacity to give me a pen and write on my envelope"Keep the pen. Don't lose it." After that I closed my account with them.

UNPROFESSIONALS!!!!!!!! My husband and I went to withdraw money and then we wanted to ask about a credit card. They told us to wait and they would have someone help us. We waited for 30 minutes and NOTHING. There were two people walking around not occupied but until we decided to leave they ask us: do you need help?! After waiting for 30 minutes and seeing us there. No wonder this bank sucks! Just unprofessional.

these guys stink. They continually put up to 10 days of hold on large transactions, even when the money has cleared from the source account days ago. You get to call them, wait on line, have them promise you they will release your money and then they don't do it so you get to call again (AND WAIT ON HOLD). waiting on hold now because I need them to clear a 7K check that the source funds cleared my husbands account yesterday for an EOY 529 transaction. switched from M&T last summer over a need for better electronic banking and sync to Quicken. Very sorry I didn't do more research before I picked this bank. I don't want to go move everything again but boy these guys are AWFUL. Avoid like the plague

Thee most run down, ratchet, in need of a renovation bank I have been to in ages. I don't bank with BOA and haven't in years, but my daughter does and she needed me to deposit money into her account. This location was the closest so I decided to go here. I walked in and immediately knew I was in for a long wait since the line was out the door. This branch was bigger than most, which means they have more customers, which logically means they should have more tellers. Nope! Three tellers and one of the three was working the equally long, three lane drive through, so technically only two...on a Saturday morning at that. Kids playing around in the lobby, baby crawling on the bare floor, non service animal dog with the owner...just no. Glad I no longer bank here. With the ridiculous fees and lousy service I think I'm going to convince my daughter to close her account as well.

Dear Bank of America, I am currently waiting in for service, I see three telllers 2 to service those of us in line and 1 for the drive up window. Currently there are 12 of us in line. I also noticed there are at least 4 other employees who do not have customers they are servicing. I am disappointed in your customer service, especially because you charge me to enter your bank and do a transaction. I would like to give you a suggestion; I think those employees who are sitting at desks not with a customer should take the next customer in line to speed the process up. Instead of walking up and down the office trying to look busy.

This is not a review of BOA on University Blvd but BOA in general. BOA has the worst customer service. They canceled our ATM cards without any notification. They had a breach. A letter sent out with a new card would have been the right thing to do.

Never, ever, bank here! Slow, unhelpful, and will lie to your face. Possibly the worst bank EVER!!!
