This bank branch staff do not smile or greet customers at all. The branch manager “Roma” tried to deny me notary service. She told me to pay $1 across the street. Eventually “Milton” had me complete my document to be notarized. Then he told me his license expired. Another notary who was kind completed the service. I left this branch feeling extremely upset. I’ve never experienced such unpleasant treatment at Navy Federal. This type of service at a facility where my money is at is absolutely unacceptable. This experience has made me want to stop banking with them. Every business should provide 5 star customer service and nothing less. I hope this branch receives white glove customer training.

Bank needs to upgrade all of its ATM machines. Always an issue with ATM when getting cash and/or depositing checks and cash. ATM touchscreens are non responsive when prompting selections because the touchscreens are old and damaged.

Please give the guy in the front a stool. There’s no reason for him to stand 8 hours a day. What’s wrong with corporate America

I had a emergency and needed to get cash out the atm , tragically the atm was dispensing my money but the machine never finalized the withdrawal, when I checked my account it had subtracted the amount I tried to withdraw without giving me my money, when I asked for a manager I was ignored until I got upset the manager came. Even though the manager named Amanda was useless her problem solving skills are a negative 5 stars she was not helpful, she even said the capital one atm was not capital ones responsibility and that there's nothing she could do; she let the bank take my money and when I told her it's a emergency she did not seem to care or even bothered. Apart from all this they don't care about their customers they are their just to earn a paycheck, she even has her daughter working there in crocs. When I asked the supposedly manager Amanda for her business card guess what ? She said she did not own any!! At the end of all this this bank location stole my money over $800 and all they could tell me is to file a claim. Once the claim was filed they said I HAVE TO WAIT 15-45 DAYS TO GET MY MONEY BACK PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS LOCATION AND MANAGER THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THE MANAGER AMANDA DID NOT WANT TO GIVE HER NAME AND WAS HIDING HER NAME TAG A QUICK ATM RUN TURNED INTO A TRAGEDY

This Capital One Bank branch is about two miles from my home since I moved a few months ago to a different part of the Silver Spring area. I sought out the closet branch as I needed a document notarized. This is a more modern branch inside and out than the one I previously visited in Rockville MD on Rockville Pike. Making the left turn off Georgia Avenue to get there was not very difficult even without a traffic light. There's a small but sufficient parking lot & 2 drive thru banking lanes. When I entered the lobby an associate was there to greet me. She helped direct me to the person & place I needed to go. Having called the day before I knew there's always more than one notary available. I was put on a list as one of them was off the floor & on their break. I was told that I could take a seat at one of the tables on the left but as I needed a very specific amount of cash out of my account ($68) I got in line for a teller. There are five windows with only one open for customers. I waited about 3 minutes to be called forward by a male associate that emerged from the back. The teller was also my notary. He helped me get my cash after checking my id & handing me a withdrawal slip to sign. He told me that I could actually get very specific amounts of cash now from the ATM at this branch. I noticed that there was also an ATM at the back of the lobby. My transaction was quick and I was told to wait at one of the tables behind me where he meet me 30 seconds later. Having seen my document at the teller window he knew where I needed to fill it out. After which he signed it & stamped it. The transaction was recorded in a log book and I was done. All the associates were friendly and helpful & my tasks here were done in just about 12 minutes. I was happy to have this item off my to-do list! Until next time be kind to each other! #capitalone #notaryservice #banking #personalservice

I’m a POA for an elderly lady with dementia at this location. I did all the necessary paperwork. They faxed it in and then lost it. I repeated the whole process. Didn’t matter because every time I come in I’m treated like a thief and made to wait while they call the main bank to “verify” me. We’re talking half hour long calls at least.

This is a horrible bank to bank with. They will nickel and dime you. Go to PNC bank or Bank of America. These guys will give you more headaches then it's worth. My kids piggy bank does a better job!
