I'm at a loss to understand the poor reviews. After 2-3 months here, I'm impressed with the skills of all the techs I've encountered (virtually all the techs there, at least on the second shift). Tony is a master of his craft; G, Chris, Quincy and Juan are excellent and enjoyable to interact with.

This Dialysis Center hasn't got too many Positives. The Pro's: It's in a Shopping Center that has a Dollar Store, Chinese Restaurant, Store Market, Bakery & a Domino's Pizza (Literally NEXT DOOR!). Good ol' Popeyes Chicken is directly across the street so getting something to eat, hot or cold is NOT a problem!! NO LONG WALKWAYS & RAMPS so you can STILL make it here on your own even if you got a Lower than 9 Hemoglobin (And that's VERY VERY REAL here....at least that's what an Inside-Source told me!!) There are 3 Great Workers: TONY (Very Experienced & Team Player), QUINCY (Amazing Tech with the term "Swag") & CHRIS (Filipino Tech that works REAL HARD). Now the BAD: Bathroom NOT SANITARY/CLEAN!!! I got "C-Diff" after I sat on their Toilet quickly without washing it 1st because I really had to go!! NOT A PRETTY SIGHT OR SMELL, NO SIR!!! Doctor Hecht seems Over-Worked & Burned-Out. If you have joined the ranks of Patients & Civilians that do not care for or like the short & petite 2-faced Dr. Hila, she now OWNS this Dialysis Center.....so NOW you know. Some Shady Workers operate this center. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I have only been at this unit 2 months and am ready to go. There are only a handful of techs that are skilled. I sustained a very painful injury when one punched through my vein while trying to insert a needle. The senior charge nurse, Marie, is not competent, looses things (like months transplant path submissions), is not accountable and is at times unprofessional. I lost all respect and confidence after she lied to me about losing my path; putting me in jeapordy with my transplant listing center. The social worker is not concerned with anything that involves work on her part and you can expect to wait on average at least 15-20 minutes for a chair and the atmosphere is generally hostile. Positives: The FA will take your complaint and follow up. There is plenty of parking. The unit has been remodeled.
