I shop at this lids store somewhat often. I recently visited and purchased 2 hats. Both hats were 6 and 7/8 on the tag and my receipt. When I went to wear one of them, I removed the tag and put the hat on. The hat felt really tight on my head so I looked at the actual manufacturer’s size. It was a completely different size than my receipt or sales tag had. When I took it back to the store, store manager Rio, told me since I removed the tag, I could not exchange it for the right size. Terrible way to treat a customer. I don’t recommend anybody spend their hard earned money at this store that cost me $50 for a tag mistake that they made when labeling the hat. This is insanity. Never again!

The cashier was extremely rude to me and my friend she was trying to make a return, and he started to raise his voice at her and denied to help with the return, we tried calling costumer services but they are useless, don’t go to this store.

I tried returning a cap and the guy was really rude and did not give me a refund cause it had a spiderweb embroidered but it already had it when I bought it!

Grateful for Steve's excellent customer service. Yesterday I visited the store along w a friend with disabilities. Steve's patience and kindness made the stressful outing pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised with Steve's attitude and willingness to switch out my friends hat all 5 times my friend changed his mind re which hat to purchase. Steve definitely went above his responsibility and deserves to be commended, not only by my family but also the company.

Good customer service. Asked if I had membership and helped find it in system. Not sure location is convenient especially parking and navigation wise. Had what I needed.

I went into your Wheaton store yesterday wanting to purchase two or three of your hats. But neither of the staff members greeted me or acknowledge my present. I stood close to cash register waiting for the young lady who was determined not to greet me . I even left and came back thinking maybe I give them a second chance. Nope! Your company has been business since 1978 and I really enjoy getting my hat collection from Lids It’s saddened me to leave without my hats. But refused to be treated like dirt and work hard for my money. I don’t always want to shop online I really do like going to the stores. I will not be purchasing any hats from that location. Some colors I haven’t seen in the other 3 locations I visited. I’m hopeful I will find them some where else. Still sad though!

I was looking for locations online. About a month ago I visited the Wheaton location with my twins, and was looking for baseball caps for the both of them. One of my twins is autistic, also nonverbal and ran into their stockroom. With a history of managing retail stores before, I know it’s an issue as far as loss prevention. However, I was never greeted or asked for help, but the guy had no problem yelling at my child. Considering I buy two of everything for my twins they are definitely losing out on sales. I’d rather travel to a further store from Wheaton Plaza.

Always have a great hat selection and if you ask for J.B he does the best custom embroidery ever. Always very clean work he delivers what you ask for.

So I got to this place at 4:25, there was a note on the door saying it wouldn’t be open until until 5:00pm & then when I get back to the store, there’s another note that says they won’t be open until 6:30pm. I just wanted to buy a jersey-_-
