A good place for Gas if you like the Sunoco Brand…!! There’s is also a Guatemalan food truck that is pretty good. My real happiness comes from the AWESOME Mechanics at this location. One of the mechanics has been there more than 40 years..!! When I was 16 I had a Pontiac 6000 STE. I took my car to many mechanics and it never got it’s electrical problem fixed. This mechanic at Sunoco gave me a fair price to change my Alternator and change my terminal cables to battery (spot worn discharging electricity to ground) which kept making my battery dead. Problem fixed on Pontiac!!… Now 30 years later, I moved back to my hometown of Wheaton, MD, These mechanics did a Mobil synthetic Oil change (8 Qts) and my Maryland State Inspection for $200 for my 2021 Chevrolet Suburban. I am SÚPER happy and proud to still see the same honest and fair Mechanics. The Rockville Chevrolet dealer Service department had quoted me $150 for Oil change and more $ if I wanted Mobil One Synthetic. Then the dealer quoted me $250 for the Maryland State Inspection. Let’s summarize: Rockville Chevrolet would have charged me like $450 total if I wanted Mobil One Synthetic and these AWESOME mechanics charged me $199… taxes included. You make your own opinion. Next case…, My mom had her Subaru serviced at a Mechanic that changed her Radiator. He touched brackets attached to the transmission and left screws not tighted and maybe loosened nuts not to be loosened. My mother didn’t know why her transmission started slipping. I kept checking the transmission Oil level and eventually added two quarts. I brought to these AWESOME mechanics. They showed me how some loose nut had made the transmission fluid leak slowly. They serviced my mom’s Subaru and now it is working like a new car. I’m telling you my mom is super happy and so am I…. I am Proud to tell you these stories and hopefully help you find here great and awesome mechanic service at a fair reasonable price. God bless..!

Avoid. Really. Man working Sunday mid May is a liar. I called in the middle of the gas shortage and asked price and he told me wrong (lower) price for Regular. I went there based on the lie. This Station is a dump, totally unkept, trash cans overflowing with garbage. They ought to be reported to the Health Dept. I don't do business with liars. Freestate next to them is Cheaper. All Sunoco's have lost my business now.

I like to give people benefit of the doubt; however, the service my husband and I received was poor. If you do good work, it should be acknowledged but from our experience his work was not honest. We went to get an inspection on a car we purchased out of state to comply with Maryland law to get tags. The car is older, but has had work done. Mr. Spaid charged twenty dollars additional on top of the inspection fee for not having tags on the car which you can not get tags until the inspection is completed and passed. Then he failed the car by stating their was a rack and pinion leak and a strut leak. We went to two other mechanics for them to inform us that the issue is just a bent tire rod and they found no leaks at all. Disappointed but a lesson learned. Do your research!

I had a flat yesterday and I hobbled my car over to Spaid's. They were professional and fair. I didn't even have to wait. The service person looked at my tire and diagnosed a leaky valve. He replaced it for $20 labor and $7 parts and taxes. It was all very efficient and everyone there was nice. Not sure how I could've had such a different experience than the reviewers of several years ago.

Came for oil change with oil and filter and they said "that's not worth a while" and walked away. I don't understand? This is your job.

Takes cash (inside) and credit card. Located next to the express gas station which sells cheap gas, but only takes cash. Luckily, this location takes credit card. The station has about 8 pump stations and appears to also do some detailing / car services here. Their gas prices are a bit expensive. If you drive out about 2-3miles, you might be able to find cheaper prices. This location also accepts Safeway gas rewards so you can get a discount on gas if you have a Safeway club card. The station is NOT open 24/7 as it turns off operation after the late evening. Unlike Wawa, this spot does not sell much food here. Don't expect a kitchen area that makes sandwiches / soups.

Most of the gas station i know open between 6:30 am and 7:30 but i dont know at what time this open open because i been there sometimes as late as 7:20 am and still no one there, the reason i complain is because i love sunoco gas and y try to keep my cars with same gas all the time

Car alternator went out on Christmas Eve. Other places quoted me outrageous prices. I called this shop and they were friendly and got the job done super quick.
