Thomas Market is close to our home so convenient to pick up a few things. There is a metered public parking lot just a store or two down from Thomas. The store is small but items are well organized. We were most impressed with the selection of spices and dried beans. The price of Za'atar, which Richard loves sprinkled on a number of foods, was very reasonable. There were some intriguing things in the freezer case so we picked up cheese puffs, cheese rolls, and mini pizzas. In the canned food section we got stuffed eggplant and we also got some of my favorite dried lentil soup. Like other reviewers have noted their was no friendly greeting or much interaction while checking out. And without going into detail, I wish the check-out person had been wearing a mask and I was glad we were.

Great selection of items for Mediterranean cooking and hosting. It's really hard to find good stuffed grape leaves, and they sell multiple brands.

Thomas Market — The BEST Greek feta in DC. Tired of tasteless feta you get at the super market? No matter if you go to Whole Foods, Giant or Wegman’s, their flavorless “Greek” cheese tastes like hardened mayonnaise. The crazy part is Thomas’ authentic Greek barrel feta costs way less than the fake garbage sold at grocery stores. Once you try Greek salad with real feta, Thomas market will be a regular stop. Expert tip: Ask for the cheese to be packed in brine. Check out the prices on lentils. Amazing.

Little gem; almost invisible store right on a University Blvd busy intersection. Tucked between Latino and All-USA joints. If you like Mediterranean food, you'd love this place - great labane, knafeh, halva, spanakopita. I did not try their coffee, but they have a nice selection, with and without cardamom. Their nuts selection is a bit disappointing, though. Worth taking the time to explore this store. Parking - best option is across the street, at the bank parking lot.

Great selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. Small deli counter with feta, olives, and other cheese. Refrigerator section including labneh (!). Nice assortment of packaged/pickled/canned foods (e.g., dolmas, preserved lemons, gnocchi, more olives, olive oil). Parking seems generally available at short-term metered spots right out front. They accept Visa credit cards. I found the service to be good.

I went in last week to buy some Middle Eastern pastries and purchased about four different kinds They were all very stale and bland. Needless to say I will not be returning to Thomas market for pastries in the future there is a much better place called Asadurs less than 10 minute drive from there

Since their begining... very good food...friendly atmosphere... excellent service. They opened...I believe in 1968 on the 900 of Bonifant St.(please correct me if I'm wrong) They had all different types of ham and cheese as well many other imported Greek and Mediterranean food items that my family enjoyed very much. I moved away.

They don't carry Turkish food any longer. Everything is from Arabian countries also Greece. It doesn't seem like they care at all.
