I moved to Silver Spring Maryland about three months ago. It has been a little like starting over at the age of 60. I needed new driver's license, doctor, insurance, pharmacy and more. This is my new pharmacy. After going to see my new doctor for the first time I came here to get my prescription refilled but it's not covered by my new insurance. The pharmacist was very friendly and reassuring. He said he'd contact my doctor. I received 2 or 3 text messages over the next 2 weeks saying my doctor was being contacted for an alternative medication. It turns out my doctor that this CVS does a lot of business with never received any of the three faxes of the insurance rejection forms. Fortunately for me my doctor reached out by phone to CVS. A medication on on my insurance's approval list was sent to the pharmacy and I was made quickly available for me to pick up. Until next time be kind to each other. #cvs @yelpdc

Lived in the area my whole life, this was probably my 2nd time stopping here. Randolph Crossing shopping center is notoriously a madhouse, mostly because of the Unique Thrift and adjacent parking lot where on the weekends it's essentially a flea market. So, not surprisingly, the manager here was super stressed out and on high alert. His attitude signals he's used to people trying funny business or shoplifting, because all I was trying to do was use manufacturer coupons I got sent because of a faulty product (which I purchased at CVS) plus a 40% one item deal on my CVS care card. First, he looked at the coupons for a hot minute very carefully, I'm guessing because people counterfeit or try to use them invalidly? Not sure since it's my first time using one. Before we even started the transaction, I asked if it was possible to use the coupon plus card deal and he said probably not. That was fine, since one of the coupons covered most of the cost of the item. He also clarified I could only use one manufacturer coupon (I had 2) during the transaction. No problem either. Unfortunately, only the manufacturer coupons scanned in and worked, the other didn't. When I asked him if it was a CVS thing or I needed to call up the manufacturer to reissue, the look I was given was as if I had 3 heads and I got a strange answer about reaching CVS's coupon limit. Huh? Coupon limit? I've never heard of such a thing in a couple decades of shopping at CVS. Given I only go there about once a month the latter didn't make much sense, but I picked up the guy was stressed and tense, so I didn't inquire further and just left without a purchase. Note that I went to another CVS location and used them without issue. If you need to run in and out to grab something, maybe this CVS is fine. If you have anything more complex than that, find another location.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Ensi took great care of us! We just finished our doctor appointment with skin surgeon and we needed a quick fix to reinforce the surgical dressing. We were confident that CVS would have what we needed! We found a cool kit that had gauze dressing and tape. I was even able to find a tape that was good for sensitive skin. I picked up a small travel size Tylenol and a bottle of cold water to wash down the pain medicine. So yes, CVS came through for the win!!! Thank you for your excellence!!

I visited this cvs to pickup some med and from my personal experience I don't understand why this location has low stars and i have been here over 3 times.. Mask is very enforced, the store is really clean and heated( cold weathwr outside) all shelves are stack and organized. The person who help me check out was (agustino) I think, he was extremely professional and helpful..i couldn't locate my $10 reward which he spent 10 minutes helping find it.. Absolutely good place cuz all shelves are stack so you'll find everything you're looking for..

Horrible service. I walked in asking if they do passport pictures they said yes. I stood around and walked and no one came to help. I asked the gentleman at the register if he was going to help he said no. He said you have to walk for my manager who went on break and will be back in 20 mins. Never going in there again.

Terrible pharmacy customer service . Waited on the phone 25 min. Went to pick up my prescription, waited in line 5 minutes while she ran to get herself a drink. Not only that, she was rude as always.

Rarely do they have prescriptions in stock. If I go here, I have to make a 2nd trip because they don't have anything in stock! (Makes it easier & faster just to go to Aspen Hill CVS one time even though it's further away for me)

(Makes it easier & faster just to go to Aspen Hill CVS one time even though it's further away for me) Pharmacist has been rude & difficult. My husband had issues first so I went in for him to see and deal with things and he was not exaggerating. We live 6 blocks from this pharmacy. 3 miles from Aspen Hill CVS. It would one nice to be able to go to our "home" pharmacy but that doesn't seem likely at this point.

Horrible experience after having to spend over 20mins seeking assistance and 10mins arguing with the cashier (yidia) who had a horrible attitude. All in all, wouldnt recommend it to anyone who's used to a basic customer service. Terrified by my experience here today.
