“I have some older Crystal kitchen cabinets that are still in great shape but had a broken hinge. I was having difficulty finding a replacement hinge and went to the manufacturer’s website and saw that they listed local dealers, one of which was All Eco Design Center. I called and spoke with Savannah and she was great. Went out of her way to find out what kind of hinge would work as the exact model is no longer made. She followed up with the manufacturer and me and placed the order. Obviously not a big ticket item yet she still was more than willing to help. Great customer service and I suspect is representative of the service one can expect from All Eco Design Center. I will definitely consider using them for my next kitchen redo. Thank-you Savannah!”

Our designer, Shannon, was wonderful to work with. She guided us through the design process expertly, always ready with suggestions but also supportive of the decisions we made. She was very patient with us, spending hours together considering paint samples and cabinet styles, and making multiple home visits.

When construction started, project manager Mark kept everything on track. The crew was respectful and worked diligently from 7:00 to 3:00 every weekday until the project was complete. The work was high quality and we are very happy with the result.

“I was recommended to Wellman from a friend of mine who used them for several projects. After meeting with Sharifa, I felt that I found a long lost friend. I came with a picture frame that I wanted to use for my kitchen cabinets. She immediately showed me the color and style that fit perfectly. Then I explained my vision about a hint of color. When we went to the backsplash area I located a very unusual design. Once we had that all set, Sharifa showed me a counter top that brought all the colors together as well as the hardware. We used several different styles for the cabinet doors, the pantry doors, and the drawers. We changed up the sink to one sink instead of two with a gorgeous brass faucet. Sadly, we couldn't use the ceiling fixtures I wanted because we didn't realize the ceiling was concrete and we could only use one fixture. Couldn't break open the ceiling as that would not have passed the condo requirements. Every afternoon, when the work crew left, they cleaned up and swept the area they were working on. You would have never known I was remodeling my kitchen. The general contractor, was Duane, the husband of Sharifa. I so appreciated this was a small business and family owned. I truly enjoyed working with everyone in their entire team.”

“We used Exis General Contracting to remodel our newly purchased home. Exis was referred to us by family and friends. We had a great experience working with Owner, Peter Exis, Tameka, Office Administrator, and their Crew, lead by Giovanni, a skilled carpenter and project lead.

They made it easy to do business and the results were spectacular, they transformed our home into our dream home. Peter worked around our budget along the way and provided us with recommendations and solutions to meet both our vision and budget. We did not hire a designer, however working with Peter, who is also an artist, to design our kitchen and bathrooms was extremely helpful. The crew, lead by Giovanni, were great, respectful, patient with us, and had a great attention to details. The craftsmanship was on point and exactly what we envisioned.

The total cost was extremely reasonable for the scope of work we had done, which included, but not limited to; refinishing the hardwood floors throughout our home, two wall removals to open up our kitchen and foyer areas, refurbishing and refinishing our staircase with new balusters and knoll posts, four bathroom remodel (including our master bathroom), refurbishing and painting the basement bar, expanded kitchen remodel, and painting of all walls, doors (with new hardware replacement), trim, and all shutter blinds.

We were extremely satisfied with Exis General Contracting and will definitely continue to refer them to family and friends.”

“We had been searching for marble tile for an entrance hall in our apartment in Georgetown Park Condominiums in a wide variety of on-line and retail stone/tile companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We ventured into the beautiful Stona showroom on Grace Street in Georgetown and were pleasantly surprised to find a marble mosaic that suited our purpose. The Stona staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The owner, Mert Bakan promptly came to our apartment, took measurements and provided a very reasonably priced bid to do all the work including demolition and re-tiling. One of the things that we liked about Stona is that they have their own craftsmen, unlike many other stone retailers who could only recommend independent contractors whom we then would have to contact to do the installation. Stona provided a full service.

Within a week of accepting their offer Stona sent two installers to do the job; small by comparison to many jobs (38 ft2). The installers were very careful removing the existing woodwork, which they refitted and replaced at the end of the job without damaging anything. (Frequently the demolition requires replacing the moldings.) The demolition of the existing floor was done without much disruption and the installation was very professional. Mert Bakan came to inspect the job before the installers left and to make sure we were satisfied with the entire process. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient as well as attentive to detail from start to finish. We are very satisfied with the finished product and would highly recommend Stona based on quality of materials, professionalism, price and overall efficiency.”
