Someone give me a good reason to keep banking at the Wheaton branch of Wells Fargo other than the fact that I have a zillion auto-pay systems set up there. The lobby was closed this morning, for no apparent reason. I gave up on the drive-through after 15 minutes of no forward motion. Back home, I waited on hold for 10 minutes and the "banker" who finally answered couldn't find my account with my name and a phone number and wanted me to go get a credit card to verify the account.... All I wanted was to know if it is possible to buy 50-cent coins for a granddaughter's half-birthday. You don't need an account for that. Wells Fargo sucks. Does anyone have a good bank?

Nice bank! It's really easy to do the drive-through. And you can make transactions in the app with your camera!

This is the worst bank I have ever seen. The representatives are unhelpful, mislead, make mistakes, and don't correct them. You spend hours on the phone, and nothing is resolved. When you ask them to do something, they don't. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy. The branch manager is completely incompetent and useless.

Their door says they are open by appointment only and offer a phone number to call. This automated phone number does not permit you to make an appointment, but after 8 minutes of being on the line you can finally hear their branch phone number. After calling the branch number twice I finally spoke to a human. She said that in order to withdraw money (more than was allowed through atm which is why we needed to see a teller) we must go through the drive-thru. They only had one line open (the other was closed for some reason) and it took us 45 minutes in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. So many things wrong with this scenario. I've been a loyal Wells Fargo member for a decade, but now I'm considering leaving. Definitely not using them for any future loans.

I don't even bank here but I was impressed by my visit I had to review. I was in desperate need for quarters for my apt's coin laundry in the basement down in Glover Park. I work out in Rockville and bank with a credit union with limited locations and hours so I was weighing my options for quick quarters so I can have clean laundry less than 24 hours before an international flight. When I arrive I was promptly greeted by two ladies who directed me to their business window. Predictably there was a long wait with it being a Friday compounded by the fact it was the weekend before the holidays. When I got to the window I asked to change 40 into quarters. Cindy asked me if I was a member. I said no fully expecting a finance charge. instead she gave me my quarters and mentioned that they do 20 fee free as a courtesy for non members but since I waited in line she obliged and gave me all the quarters I wanted. I wish that Wells Fargo as an entity matched the level of service of their own branch employees which would compel me to bank with them. U

1 lady standing working there when I was leaving complimented me ! Wasn't sure if she was the manager ... It gets.busy during the days though.

The employees here are all really friendly and helpful. The manager working when I came in at a busy time was going through the line and helping each customer so that the transactions would go more quickly. They do have a drive thru section but it does not have an ATM. You have to go inside for the ATM.

The people in this branch are good at their jobs and friendly. I've never reviewed a bank branch, but I'm always pleased at the service here, whether it is the teller windows or bankers at desks. 20-year customer.

This is a very busy branch because it is so centrally located. Even so after signing in (not too obvious should have a sign in table more in the middle) the branch manager came over to tell me that she has 4 bankers and it won't be too long. Within five minutes I was called. The banker Mr. Do was very pleasant and it took a few phone calls but he found the special code for an offer to open an account and receive $100. He quickly set up my account. He even offered to set up on line banking for me. Excellent customer service from a very busy bank. The whole experience was 39 minutes. Kudos to Wells Fargo Branch at University Blvd Wheaton, Maryland.

I rarely post bad reviews. The cashier was fine. The personal banker and the "helper" in the lobby were most unhelpful and wasted my time. On the sign on the wall in the building is a quote about "COURTESY" being utmost priority. Not demonstrated. While I was in line, another gentleman walked out - I announced out loud I would have liked to do the same.
