so my review has went form a 5 to 2 because I'm just really confused as to why I had a car for 4 months and now all of sudden I'm starting to see all the problems they gave me a car that was well overdue for a oil change fluids was low in the car my car makes a very weird sound when accelerating while also squeaking at first my issue was just they'd dint clean the car but my goodness I didn't think coming to car max would do this smh

Disappointed Disappointed. I dropped off my SUV I purchased on 9/16/24 for service one power window stopped working. Dropped off on 10/01/24 now it's 10/31/24 my SUV still have not been repaired. I have spoken to 6 different people's. They're ordering the same parts they said they replaced. This sounds like a wiring harnesses problems or it's with the electronics. The right thing to do is give me another car or my back SO THAT CAN TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I tried giving them no stars, but google would allow me.

The folks at the White Marsh Carmax dealership were fantastic! Fast - friendly - professional service. I am a retiree who has purchased many vehicles over the course of my life, and this was the very best car purchase experience I've ever had. Great team of people there. Highest recommendation for this place ??

They were super helpful finding a car. I told them up front I had a pre approved check from my credit union. As soon as I picked out a car I loved, I was told they could not take the check, because it said on it my credit union would finance 120% of the value of the car, and that what carmax was pricing the car at after all the work they did was too high. Basically they had no cars were I could use my $19,000 check. I started to leave, but I really liked the car. I ended up going through carmax's for financing at a much higher rate. they were at 11% my credit union was at 5.74%. I talked to my credit union later and found out this was not true, and they don't base the "value" on a blue book price. As soon I as I get the title I am going to refinance through my credit union. I felt pressured and tricked into using their financing. Also they were super high pressure in trying to get me to get the extended warranty. They continued to harass me even while I was signing the paperwork. Happy with my car, not happy with dirty sales tactics.

This review can not express the gratitude I have for the team of representatives at your WhiteMarsh CarMax location. I came in with what I felt would be a huge issue however every staff member I came in contact with provided caring customer service with excellence, from the service department to the sales floor. My direct contact with Ryan Price, Moses (Service Manager), George, Rich Hulthberg, and Jacqueline Santiago was beyond remarkable. I left with a car I love and felt like I had received the best customer service/care ever. I even had a small inquiry after purchase and Moses immediately took care of me!!! Thank you from the heart WhiteMarsh Carmax staff!!! I would recommend this location to anyone.

Working with Don was very pleasant he made it very comfortable and he wasn’t pushy. I first walked in to a very warm welcome even though it was a lot of people in there the wait time was not too long. It did not take me long to get approved for a vehicle. Don was very good with respecting my price range and mileage requirements. He was very personable and enjoyable to work with. I am very happy to drive off in my 2019 Nissan Sentra, one of the best parts was they gave me hard Tags on the spot! No need to get temporary tags. Overall the experience was very great for me. This was my first time ever purchasing a car with Carmax. For sure years down the line if I need another car I am definitely going back to Carmax. Truly blessed to have experienced what I experienced. Even with my credit not behind all that hot I was still able to sign off on the car by myself with a not too high down payment.
