Was talking with a young man by the name of Elijah the other day trying to get some horse feed and some lady came up and started berating him for some reason or another. I think her name was Jenny or something. If this is how she treats her own subordinates I definitely would not want any help from her. I thought these managers were supposed to receive training on how to conduct themselves toward those working under them. I guess not, and will try a different TS for my feed from now on that treats their employees better.

Generally, it's a five star experience, but I had an awkward interaction today that brings it down to 4.
Two employees were bringing a chicken coop around the building. I asked if they were selling it, and instead of telling me the model and that it was available inside, they just told me I couldn't buy the display units. No other information.
Of course you can't buy the display units. I just wanted the coop. She then used to opportunity to tell the other employee to make sure people know they can't but the display units. It felt weird and condescending.
I had to go inside and ask another employee about it, then go back outside to point the coop out to that employee, all the while being awkwardly ignored by other two employees who had moved the coop.
I get that they may have been distracted, but the two employees moving the coop could have at least given me the model info or directed me inside. Very awkward.

So, if you can’t hold on to your dogs leash around other animals 10/10 don’t recommend brining them out in public. Also, don’t recommend this location, at least not for the dog wash area. One of the blow dryers is broken, the other has a broken hose. They don’t clean it in between so I had to remove someone else’s dogs clumped up hair from the drain before I could use it. The blow dryer is also caked in dog hair so I’m surprised it even worked. When we asked if they had an extra the lady at the checkout was really rude about it. Like we didn’t pay to use them.

The staff is the worst in the area and the new manager is even worse she doesn't know nothing their mowers dont even have gas in them ready for pickups for customers or delivery service providers, the young kids they hire haven't been taught customer service on any level as they walk right pass customers

My father went to this location about an hour ago to purchase an almost $500 tiller after doing research for several days and finding the one that he wanted in stock at this location. While in the store, he went to look for the tiller but didn’t see any the floor. He asked for assistance and one of the associates brushed him off and told him that it was on aisle 4, which is where my father had just come from. He explained that he was just back there and didn’t see any and that same associate said well if they are not there, then they must be outside and walked away from him. All the equipment outside is locked up, so how was he supposed to get the item without assistance from a store associate? The associate he was speaking to (who was not assisting any other customer at the time mind you) blatantly walked away, so discouraged, my father left without making any purchases. While we like Tractor Supply as a company, THIS location will never see any of our money again. (I typed this review in his stead as my father is elderly and doesn’t believe n leaving reviews).

Went for the dog wash station. Daphne was incredibly awesome and attentive, even helping me with an issue I ran into while there. My spouse filled propane while I washed our dog and the young gentleman who did was great
(unfortunately didn't get his name). Would absolutely come to location again!

Trying to get propane from here is such a gamble anymore, zero reliability and always a punt to blame it on Suburban Propane. I am on the phone right now (9 minutes of steady ringing) with no one picking up the phone. I use to love this store now its just a hassle when it comes to propane or trying to call directly. DO BETTER Tractor Supply before Amazon finds a way to refill propane. Update after 20 min I hung up disgusted!

Trying to get propane here is like pulling teeth. We've caught them lying about being out of propane right before the recent snow storm, the app for service does nothing but leave you standing out in the cold, or the tank is broken but there's no signage saying so. There's so many issues with their propane they have to be making things up just because they don't want to do it. We've been all over the country and always used tractor supply, but we've never experienced one with such a slew of issues. Customer service is a joke and gets you no where.

I have learned that u should definitely call before u get propane. So it’s raining today so I called to see if they where filling tanks today but a woman answered the phone I didn’t get there name but was told that they not filling propane today because of the rain. So I called the charlotte hall location just to see if maybe they might. A guy answered the phone was very helpful said yes sir please bring them by we will fill them rite up for you. Now the problem I have is now I have to drive 15 miles instead of 4 miles away. Because of staff that just don’t feel like doing the job I thought maybe it was like a franchise thing so I look online to find out it’s all one company. Very frustrating to say the least

Ms. Tineal was very helpful when I asked her for a somewhat strange request today. I was nervous to buy straw for a stray cat I am caring for because when I was a kid, my parents put a bail of straw in the car, which resulted in an infestation of wolf spiders. One huge one crawled out of the cusions of the back seat while we were out to dinner and I was mortified and frightened for months. The straw I bought this time was bagged, which I had specifically looked for. But there were a few holes in the bag, which made me nervous. Ms. Tineal was very understanding and kind as she helped me patch the holes with packing tape. I felt goofy asking for this but she made me feel like my request was totally reasonable.
