  Exceptional; Ryan and his team are first class! For well over a year we searched for a contractor who could translate our vision for a screened porch into reality.
  
  It was extremely important to us that the porch appear as if it was part of the original construction of our home and not an add on. We met with several well-known contractors in the county, but none accurately captured the vision we had. Thinking we were going to have to settle, we were about to sign with one of those contractors when luckily, we came across Ryan. Man... what a fantastic break for us!
  
  During our first meeting with Ryan, we could tell right away that he got it, and boy did his team nail it! My wife and I were pleased with everything from beginning to end. They exceeded our expectations, and the finished product is exactly what we envisioned.
  
  Ryan's team led by Project Manager Greg, was outstanding. They were punctual, kept us informed throughout, seamlessly integrated all of the phases of the construction (inspections, materials, electrical, roofing, etc.) and cleaned up every day.
  The crew was top notch, however if anything fell short of McWhorter's quality standards, Greg ensured it was immediately corrected. As a veteran I was very impressed with their attention to detail. Not only did this team finish on budget they completed the job 2 weeks early.
  
  MCWHORTER IS THE ONLY CONTRACTOR WE WILL USE FOR FUTURE PROJECTS...HANDS DOWN!

  Excellent experience with McWhorter Construction. We had been struggling to finalize a layout for our screened in porch for nearly two years and Ryan came up with an excellent layout that worked perfectly for our family, he was also extremely helpful when making decisions about the various materials and finishes during the design process!
  
  When the project was ready to start, Greg did a great job explaining the process and letting us know what to expect and was always helpful in answering any questions that came up during construction.
  
  Being in the residential construction industry myself, the team doing the day to day work is by far the most important part of a successful project. I cannot say enough positive things about Gage and his team, James, Luis & Rungo. They truly went above and beyond on a daily basis... their attention to detail and hard work was second to none and it truly felt like they put the same effort into our project that they would in their own homes. The entire team was always so friendly and respectful of our busy family household and became quick friends with my excited kiddos (and dogs) watching them work during breakfast each morning! Gage's professionalism and communication was incredible... he provided day-to-day updates for us and was always patient and willing to answer any questions we had to make sure that we were happy with the progress and satisfied with the work being done, even if it involved a last minute change!
  
  We couldn't be happier with the finished product and would highly recommend McWhorter Construction to our friends and family and hope to use them again in the future for other projects!

  Michelle and I used Jonathan Rivera Architecture and Ryan McWorter Construction to design and build a major renovation to our home. Jonathan showed us a similar project to what we were imagining for our home. Ryan was the builder for that project. We were very impressed by what we saw so we hired them but I am even more impressed by what they did together for our home.
  
  If I could give 7 out of 5 stars, I would. Our crew was very knowledgeable and wouldn’t do anything unless it was absolutely perfect. It was so refreshing to have a crew that cared just as much about our project as we did.
  
  Greg was our project manager. I was impressed with him from the start. He is very responsive to texts, phone calls and emails. He is also very organized and was able to keep track of every step of our project at all times. He is humble and says its the app on his phone but that is not it. He was just good of keeping track of every aspect of our project as well as several other local McWorter projects. He is also hands on and would join our crew when they needed him. Once we broke ground I can probably recall maybe 5 days when nothing was going on at our house. This is very impressive because our project was quite large and took about 10 months of work from breaking ground until the final walkthrough with Ryan.
  
  Greg’s brother Gage was the leader of our main crew of four. Gage with James, Jesus (goes by Rungo) and Luis were the core of our project. We had some major structural changes that required the expertise of Ryan McWorter and the ideas of Architect Jonathan Rivera. Our 30 year old home had 6 exposed decorative columns holding up the ceiling of our large combined kitchen/living room. Ryan and Jonathan were able to get it down to one column with the help of massive steel beams that span the space and are mostly hidden in the ceiling. It wasn’t possible to make them completely disappear but with some cleaver trim and design they add a sophisticated look to what would otherwise be a large flat ceiling. Gage and crew took the plans and did the hard part. Making it work and making it perfect. They were meticulous in every way. They would clean up their work space at the end of everyday. They were respectful, friendly and very trustworthy. I was actually sad when we were finished because I enjoyed their company.
  
  We also added a very large outdoor covered porch with fireplace, TV and outdoor kitchen. Since we chose to do the entire floor in bluestone we needed a floating concrete slab as an undersurface. This required full concrete basement walls with large steel beams to support the ceiling. We asked for full 8 foot ceilings underneath which basically tripled our basement storage area. I was impressed by how knowledgeable everyone was for such a project. Nothing was ever in question if it could be done. When we asked if we could make a change or do something different from our initial proposal it was never challenged . Everything was possible. A great advantage to Ryan is that he doesn’t punish the customer for such things. He priced changes like they were in the initial plan. Is he the cheapest? No. He just takes pride in his company and wants everything to be perfect for his customers. I think his prices are very fair.
  
  Ryan also uses excellent sub contractors. A project like ours required foundation work, tree removal, grading, roofers, plumbers, electricians, brick layers, paving work, basketball hoop installers, security, audio and TV technicians, gas fitters, painters etc….. They were all professional and excellent. I kept all of their names and phone numbers and will call them when needed.

  Nothing but positive things to say about McWhorter Construction. Ryan quickly, efficiently and collaboratively helped us design a wonderful living space in our tricky backyard. We have been scratching our heads on what to do out there for 10+ years, and now we have a huge living space to gather friends and family.
  When the project started Gage, Greg and their crew were incredible from day 1. Hardworking, polite and respectful of our surrounding neighbors. No question or ask was ever a problem. Gage went above and beyond to make sure he communicated with us day-to-day and wanted us to be comfortable with the progress of the job at each step. It was evident he and his team take extreme pride in their work - as they should - the porch turned out beautifully! We are thrilled.

  Extremely happy after working with McWhorter Construction. From initial design meetings to the final product the entire team was professional and easy to work with. No surprises and easy to stay on budget thanks to their expert advice and recommendations. Would be my first choice for any home improvement project!

  I would like to sincerely take this time to commend the team at McWhorter for the exemplary job they did building our outdoor kitchen and deck. I would also like to include Jonathan Rivera who created the architecture for this project. Team work is often spoke of casually but until you witness it from the team of Ryan, Greg, Edwin, Andy,Ericks and all the others, you cannot really understand the full heartedness of this expression. The employees truly love what they do, and it shows. The value they put in to their craftsmanship is understood by their excellence. They express their professionalism in all that they do and you can witness this by watching them together as they build and work as a team.
  
  I wish I could say the same for all the contractors and teams I have met in the past prior to using McWhorter but I cannot. If you want a job done well, and you expect the best, then expect McWhorter to meet your needs. Seldom do I meet a team and contractor that I have only positive things to say- they are truly worthy of my praise.

  We are extremely pleased with the great job Ryan and his team of Greg and James did on our deck and screened porch project. Their attention to detail and to completing the project on schedule is to be commended. This is the third major project McWhorter has done for us and we are always happy to refer them to our friends and neighbors. We are proud to tell others that ours is a McWhorter -built project.

  We absolutely love our house designed by Jonathan Rivera so when we decided to extend our roof over an additional area of our back porch to create a hot tub area, we consulted with Jonathan. He gave us additional recommendations we did not think of and could not be happier with how it turned out. Per Jonathan’s suggestion we used McWhorter Construction for the project. Greg, the project lead, was amazing. He was always available, responsive, and did a phenomenal job keeping us informed every step of the way. Edwin, the manager of the crew assigned to our project, was very professional. The crew was always on time, they did meticulous work, and they left our yard clean every evening. We could not be happier with entire process!

  Greg Lee was our project manager. Greg and his team did a first class job. Everything was organized and the attention to detail was always in our favor.   We had a vision and McWhorter Construction made it happen!! Our project manager, Greg, and the amazing cast of subcontractors made the past 5 months a great and rewarding experience! We were incredibly impressed with the professionalism, respect, and amazing attention to detail all of the men and women that entered our home showed us. We highly recommend giving them a call for your renovation or new build ideas! You won't regret it!!!

  We had an addition put on with beautiful screened in porch and a basement finished…Everybody from start to finish were wonderful especially Greg, Edwin and his whole team. They were extremely professional and personable. They worked hard everyday to accomplish a high level of perfection. We couldn’t be happier!

  They did my covered out door deck. I interacted with Gages crew daily and they did a great job of updating me on the progress and addressing my questions and concerns. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend them to others in the future.

  The team at McWhorter Construction are professional and easy to work with top to bottom. From meetings with the owner to review details, to frequent check ins with the project manager and professional conversations with the daily crew, the whole team does a great job. Edwin's crew did our tear down/rebuild expanded deck and screen porch and made sure everything was to our liking. Everyone was very friendly and professional and they made it easy on the customer. We have other friends who have also used McWhorter Construction for their projects and all have been very pleased. Highly recommended!
