“I had stopped going to Safeway due to customer service.. Tonight I went to went to Safeway just for a couple of things. I I used the self check which normally I hate to do, There was a gentleman that assisted me with price check. And then there was a jar that was opened and opened and Tyler went above and beyond assisting me to get that replaced. Giving me paper towels to wipe my hands. And then retrieving a new bottle. I just wanted to say thank you again.”
“I love this store but having only 1 open checkout and 11 self checkouts is very upsetting. I’m a senior and Jyst shopping and putting the groceries away at home Is enough for me. I spend a lot of money and the least Weis could do is check me out and bag it. If you only have one full service checkout please put someone there that is fast and knowledgeable. I don’t want to switch stores but they need to change this checkout issue soon.”
“When I drive to Mount Airy from Damascus I stop at the Food Lion due to great prices. Milk is $1 less than Safeway and store full service checkouts are better on weekdays than Walmart or Safeway.”
“A great grocery shopping experience!I found this gem driving back to Baltimore from WV (a commute that I make all the time). This is such a great grocery store! Baltimore doesn't have very many good grocery options where I live, so I've decided to make this a regular stop during my MD-WV commute. The produce section had a lot of fresh options, the bakery also had some cute options for cakes and cupcakes. They also have gluten free and vegan sections that had a lot of the items that my GF/VG friends purchase. I mostly bought pantry items, which were all reasonably priced. I didn't buy any meat, but it looked like they had a nice selection. They also have greeting cards, household items, baby items, basic cosmetics, and basic pet supplies. The prices are very reasonable and the whole place was extremely clean. When I checked out, the staff person was friendly and helpful. I've signed up for a food lion card and am definitely coming back!”
