The Howard County Conservancy is a real treasure and a hidden gem located on 232 acres of rolling hills. It is a 325-year-old farm with beautiful vistas of the Patapsco Valley, offering a sense of Big Sky. The property features several miles of trails through a variety of habitats, home to more than 140 species of birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. It is a beautiful place to see natural diversity, with areas for kids to play and learn about nature. The Conservancy is also a stunning and unique venue perfect for any special occasion, including intimate weddings or grand receptions. It boasts a grand ballroom with a soaring glass ceiling and views of the surrounding gardens. The gardens themselves are a true treasure with winding paths, charming gazebos, lush greenery, and fragrant flowers. It is a place where memories are made, described as spacious and so much nature, with both outdoor and indoor spaces for guests. Founded in 1990, the Conservancy works to preserve land and green spaces while providing educational programs and hosting cultural events. It is a place worth a visit and preserving, where one can enjoy a casual afternoon or a formal affair and revisit to build future memories.
This is a place you must see for a casual afternoon or a formal affair. I attended a formal garden wedding late afternoon that was so beautiful. Finger food served in the garden and main meal served in the building. If you are getting married you need to book this place well in advance.

A beautiful place to see the natural diversity available in Howard County and the Mid-Atlantic habitat. Several miles of trails, areas for kids to play and learn about nature, different habitats, and working to preserve green spaces in an area that is seeing its green spaces disappear. Worth a visit and preserving
