Every interaction I had with them from start to finish was pleasant, understanding and informative. Each person was very helpful and they were flexible with the intake process as we had to take some time to make the decision of how to proceed. The turnaround time was impressive and they even called to let me know they wanted to take more time to ensure the quality of the work was at their best, which I greatly appreciated. Obviously cannot speak to the end result of the work as it has just been completed and cannot see it for myself so will take time to test (will update when appropriate) but I am confident from how I was treated here that it was excellent work and I will be happy I chose to have my transmission fixed here.

great people but. Dropped my car off for warranty work because of a blown transmission, still had all six gears. they drove my car 3 miles on a broken transmission without asking me, or me signing anything that they are allowed to. got the car returned to me by tow truck after them denying warranty work because the warranty company is too much of a hassle and now my car doesn’t move at all and my miles went up by 3. it doesn’t take 3 miles to go up and down a tow truck and you shouldn’t test drive a car that has broken transmission especially without asking customer. very disappointed now I have to pay extra for another shop to fix it… I really didn’t want to leave this review but after them not answering the phone I had no other choice.

My family has been using Abington Automatic Transmissions since I was in diapers. They fixed my very old 2003 Ford Windstar, it needed new transmission lines. They got the job done in less than 2 full days and the price was almost priceless. They are a family owned business and they take pride in their work and professionalism. They are great cause they are not ripping you off like a dealer would. Reasonable prices, great mechanics, and the receptionist Nancy (i hope i remembered her name. She is so pleasent to talk to) is very helpful and actually knows a lot about car issues and she makes you feel that your car is going to be taken care of as if the mechanics were working on their own cars. This is the place where the job will get done to the fullest. Highly recommend!! 5 STAR TREATMENT!!!P.S. See the pictures of my extremely old van. Well, they fixed it and it ran for almost another year!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!P.S.S. Thank you to all who work at Abington Automatic Transmissions!!! Great place! If you are looking for a business with integrity and honesty, this is the place. We took our son's 2008 SUV expecting to have a full transmission rebuild. The owner told us upfront what the cost would be but said he would look at it and let us know...the next day he got back to us and told us the only thing we needed was a $24 part, which he had already replaced. He could have easily just done the transmission job and we would never had known the difference. We had originally taken this to our dealership and they told us there was a 2-3 week wait for the car to even be looked at and it would cost $300 just for them to look at it. I wish this place was a full auto service shop as I would bring all of our cars here for service. If you need transmission work this is the place to go!Services: Transmission repair
