“I’ve been buying plants from here for a couple of years now, but I felt compelled to write this review based on my experience with Vicki. She was helpful from the beginning and very patient with explaining all the different options. When I called back for the delivery, she even went as far as to measure the plant for me to ensure we dug the appropriate size hole. We overshot and ordered an extra tree. It was a breeze just having her do a refund for that over the phone. Nowadays, it’s hard to find excellent customer service, which Vicki excelled in. I would highly recommend asking for her”
“I have ordered before for funerals and such, and been impressed, but this time I ordered flowers for my wife, as she has been travelling a lot, and I missed her. The arrangement was incredible, my wife was so happy! Truly a great artisan flower shop. Attached photo is 6 days old!”

I have been going for years and always learn so much from the owners and staff. The display garden is one of a kind and better than all the estate gardens I have toured.”

“A small nursery that I have been using since the 1980s. They have very healthy plants. And overall, a good selection, as well as gift items, potting things, and birdseeds and houses. The staff of women who used to be in the gardens were always extremely knowledgeable. My past few years have not always a pleasant experience at the register, though (depends upon who waits on me).”
“I cannot say enough positive things about the crew at A Thomas and sons. They removed a number of old and tangled shrubbery stumps from my yard and spent all day installing a beautiful privacy screen of green giant arborvitae. They did a fantastic job. Don’t forget to tip the hard working crew

“We bought and prepaid for some tile at the wareham location for a pickup a few days later. When we arrived the store had sold them out from under us and we were left stranded- we were directed to the bridgewater store which we went to pick up the tile the next day. We went to customer service where we met with Salem- who immediately was apologizing for the experience and that she had heard this exact situation from the exact same store on more than one occasion-she immediately asked if she could do anything further for us, of which we said no we were just grateful to find the same tile for the same clearance rate- all I asked was that I get it loaded with a forklift cuz I had recently hurt my back, she asked if I was offloading it, which I was, so she said ok well since you had this issue and had to come all the way here if you’re ok with me delivering them in 6-7 days we can do it waive the fee because of the inconvenience, which saved me not only my back but time with my family I had already previously missed out on due to the experience at the other store. We didn’t ask for this. We would’ve been happy doing what we planned initially but she was keen enough to understand our relationship with HD had already been tarnished and she wanted to correct it, which she did, and we appreciate it greatly. Thank you Salem & the bridgewater store as a whole for assembling a conscientious team”

Worked wonders on my basil that was being decimated in the night ?. There was a small section of discount plants. I found a red cone flower for $5. The woman running the place also sent me and my friend home with some fresh cut columbine seed pods! Definitely worth a glance if you're into fun new garden additions!”

“This is a great location that keeps up on inventory. The staff has been friendly and helpful aside from one floor manager who has given me a hard time for clearance items 2x now. After I already paid for the items he followed me to my car and tried to take them back! It felt weirdly personal, I’ve never had this happen and it was embarrassing. Talk about uncomfortable. He made me feel like I did something wrong. The store manager however was very nice and seems to put the customer first. He honored store policy and allowed me to buy items as they rang up at the register so I will raise to 4 stars. If I happen to encounter the floor manager again and he follows policy I’ll be sure to update to 5 stars because that’s my only complaint.”
“My husband and I were shopping for tile adhesives, looking for a small container. The flooring aisle had a large selection of 50 lb bags of mix as well as 1-5 gallon size tubs of prepared spread, all of which were too large for our small repair. We were ready to leave when Samalie, a flooring specialist approached us offering to help. She quickly brought us to a section with 1 quart prepared adhesive spread, perfect for our job. Samalie was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable- Thank You!”
