“I have been shopping here since I was a kid with my mom and my Grandma. It's just the sweetest grocery store. The employees are always kind helpful and very accommodating. I love the breads and bagels at the bakery they're top-notch and the layout of the store is easy to find what you're looking for.”
“Very pricey, very, very, very pricey. Compared to other supermarkets, but I must say that the cashiers and the store employees are very, very
friendly and always can help
you needed”
“The hot food they served it didn't look fresh. Prices are a little higher than other tropical grocery stores. But the variety is excellent. They had everything I was looking for”
“My favorite grocery store, fresh fish, and crabs market in the Brockton community . The market has everything I need from Haiti ?? . A thanks for all tge gay and the women. Who works at the fish and meat department. Excellent customer service. I recommend it.”
“There is everything; But I find it very tight, too many things for so many people who go sometimes you can't move and the closed bath that you have to ask who can open you ...”
“this store single handedly saved the family’s Thanksgiving dinner. being open on Thanksgiving (until 4pm) was absolutely clutch and so greatly appreciated. don’t trust your mother when she says there’s spicy brown mustard in the fridge for your deviled eggs; there won’t be a single drop. America’s Food Basket Brockton has your back!!”
“New to this market
Not hugh but had a variety of selections in meats, produce, frozen goods and indoor outdoor household gadgets. Similar to a much smaller BJ's or coscos”
“I rarely grocery shop at America's Food Basket, but it's good that I can find certain products there from the Caribbean when I need them. What I buy there several times weekly, however, is the prepared Haitian foods. The line at the food table has been getting longer as more people are discovering this yummy little secret. The food is sold by the pound, so you can fill your styrofoam take out container with your favorites. The semi sweet fried plantains are a big hit and always disappear the fastest. The griot is another favorite, followed by the fried pork. Often I miss the griot no matter what time I arrive. I've gotten there as early as 10:30 a.m. and the food was there, but that was an exception. It seems that the average time that all of the food will be there is around 11:30 a.m. This food spot is very popular and the food is tasty. Bring your own shopping bag to secure your purchase or pay 10 cents per bag at the checkout. If you cannot wait until you get home to eat, tables and chairs are available near the food. Don't forget to grab your utensils.”
“I am in a wheelchair and when Wallace delivered my groceries he brought them to my kitchen and put all the refrigerator and freezer foods away before he left. This was a big help to me.
Thanks Wallace”
“I liked this market, but only purchased dry goods, as we were not come prepared for fresh or frozen purchases on this trip. The prices for some goods were better than H-Mart.The ancillary shops had fun products, lanterns, etc. In addition to home goods and beauty items, there was also furniture, as well as lots of independent shops. We got Banh Mi to go and they were delicious after one hour travel time.”
“The very best service of any supermarket Ive been too.
I dont know what their secret is but they have the best roses around. And i know flowers.
GET YOUR ROSES HERE!”
