I had an extensive and very informative conversation with Ray about brands and advertising and marketing which was very helpful in helping me choose a brand I had never heard of. Ray’s knowledge of the full range of vacuums out there and how they are made really helped me with my decision. I also got my old Electrolux repaired to serve as a backup/extra. We all know we could go to Best Buy or Walmart and buy something cheaper but I felt that dealing with Acton Vacuum was a better use of my time and money. Thank you Ray.”

And as for Kevin and his delivery crew - I couldn’t believe how quickly and efficiently they moved a very large washer/dryer unit into my upstairs apartment. Communication has been superb throughout. “We recently completed a major renovation in our home and worked with Riverbend and their partners (contractors) for installation. Our kitchen was outdated, our first floor had 4 different floorings and we just needed a re-do! The renovation included flooring on our entire first floor, complete renovation of our bathroom and kitchen.

We are in love with the results. The cabinet options were great - - and we went with Omega (maple) in Beach house (peripheral upper and lower cabinets) and Desert (for the island). We chose Quartzite countertops and had a great experience with the selection and installation processes. Have I mentioned our floors?? OMG - we selected quartersawn oak and went with a natural finish. They are stunning!! Donna was spot on with her recommendation for the flooring. We wanted something different for the powder room and went with a checkboard type look in tumbled marble. It's just gorgeous. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that we are very happy with the outcome. Our renovation was long overdue...we put it off for a bit too long but now that it's done, we are so very pleased with the results. We love our new appliances as well - all by Miele. The oven/range cooks unlike any other appliance I've ever owned. Far superior to the more common brands. Donna also recommended a speed oven for us when I mentioned how I always wanted two ovens but didn't have the space in my kitchen. She incorporated it into the design and we love that it can operate as our microwave and as an oven. It's simply AWESOME. “This is probably one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had purchasing an appliance. This was the first time my husband and I have every bought an appliance (our home came with decent appliances, but after 7 years and probably another 3-5 or so years tacked on from time of the purchase of the appliances prior to our purchase of the home...it was time to start upgrading!) but I have gone with my parents earlier years at big chain stores. The knowledge these employees have (we worked with Michael and he was great) at Hunter Appliance versus a place like Home Depot or Percy's is like night and day! They take the time to go over your needs and requirements and they have a great selection. They certainly had some more interesting and unique items than the big chains. Great selection where they offer low, mid and high end appliances. I didn't even know that dishwashers have recommended detergents to maintain the life of the appliance and they went over all that information with us and even provided some samples. Upfront, they made sure they clarified all the necessary adapters required as I recalling previous years with my parents at the big chains where they would show up and wouldn't have all the proper parts to put it together. I'm always happy to spend a little more to support smaller and/or family business, however, their prices are also very, very competitive including the delivery, installation and recycling. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for all future appliance purchases.”

He provided us some design ideas that worked well with our other décor. We are very satisfied with the outcome!”
