I would recommend getting a second opinion before having your car Repairs done here. The shop diagnosed my car incorrectly. I Took it to another shop, for a second opinion!! This mechanic used the stethoscope To diagnose the noise. He called me in to listen for myself with the stethoscope. I told him what your shop said needed to be replaced he then put the stethoscope to that specific part for me to listen and there was no noise. I understand mistakes happen, but for the amount I was quoted that’s a pretty big mistake.

Had my car serviced there this morning for the first time. Did not appreciate the poster championing the second amendment or the upcharge for credit and debit cards. Will not be returning.

It looks small but I couldn't ask for a more respectful place to bring my car they are honest and stand behind their work, and they try their best to keep it as low as they can within reason, of course, thank you, you guys are amazing.

I want to preface this review that Greylock Repair Center typically offers great service, friendly atmosphere, and honesty all at a fair price. With that said there’s a reason I am rating them 3 stars and not 5. I recently booked out an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Leading up to the repair I called a few times asking when I’d get an estimate on the work they recommended be done due to a coolant leak from my turbo fittings. The estimate was never received. I noticed my coolant depleting below threshold every few hundred miles, so I continually topped it off when needed assuming it was the leak from the turbo fittings and is why I scheduled the appointment. Upon showing up to my appointment they were trying to be honest with me and explained they were unsure on the amount of labor needed and it appeared they were not confident to carry out the work needed, but still wanted to reschedule another week out. After failing to communicate any of this leading up to my appointment, I decided to go elsewhere to fix my coolant leak. Greylock Repair diagnosed that my turbo fittings were leaking coolant (a known expensive issue with the vehicle) when in reality the leak stemmed from the coolant hose connection to the reservoir. The other shop found the fittings aren’t leaking and my system was repressurized. Due to this I have lost my trust with Greylock Repair and will be wary if I am to use them in the future. All of this could’ve have been solved with better shop to customer communication leading up to my appointment or they could have been honest and recommend I go elsewhere for a repair they’re not confident or experienced in.
