long time with bank!!!! Same bank my boss uses, and direct deposit is not available where I work!!!I drive two towns away to cash check on Sat.. I deposit it. And she puts it on hold till after the weekend!!! If that was the case I would have snapped a photo. And deposited check with the app on phone. %#&@#$%#@

Friendly staff but that's about it. They charge just to check your account balance from another banks ATM.

The bank is good, it recently merged w/ First Niagara so some minor kinks came about but all you have to do is present your issue to the tellers/managers and they take care of it. The staff are the stars! They are always willing to help, pleasant, welcoming & greet you by name. Though it's a quick interaction, getting great customer service can make a good day BETTER or a good day BAD!. In that department they never fail.

Made an online purchase in the UK for less than $60 and FNiagra (New Alliance at that time) declined the charge. Not only did they decline that purchase, they closed the account. My new charges from Pay pal were denied and Paypal flagged my account as a high risk account. I was unable to purchase Netflix for $8 per month as my new subscription was denied. My Florida Sunpass account, which I have had since 2008 needed to replenish my account as it has in the past for $25. The card was charged and denied three time leaving me with 4 violation that I was unaware of. Each violation was $100, for a cost of $400 that needed to be paid immediately or I would need to go to court with the possibility of loosing my license. All this stems from First Niagra closing my account!! Now, in an effort to resolve this issues, I have called and spoke with several supervisors.... Tina and Harold... Neither of who had half a brain. Nor after numerous phone call attempts, cared to return my calls. I have since notified my attorney, the FDIC and the BBB and will be taking them to small claims court. This is the WORST BANK I have ever dealt with and HIGHLY recommend you bank elsewhere.... They have no regard for their customers at all. And... just a fyi... at the time of their denial of payment of my purchases, not only was there enough funds to cover the purchases, there was also 6 figures in my savings account !!! HELLO FIRST NIAGRA NEW ALLIANCE If I can manage to save ONE person half the aggravation this bank has caused me, then this was worth printing. Please, PLEASE don't use this bank.... There are more qualified people to take care of your money... .
