Today (the day after Thanksgiving) I had a flat tire that wouldn’t inflate. I called and was told to come directly over. They took me in immediately, and found a slit in the tire. It was patched so I was ready to go within about 15 mins. I really appreciated them taking such good care of me. They’ve earned a new customer!

For the past few months I have had intermittent issues with my BMW X5 rear air suspension. The back of the vehicle would sag - sometimes on just one side; sometimes on both but the problem would always correct itself within a short period of time. The 2017 X5 has almost 90,000 miles on it and apparently it's not uncommon for the 2 air springs to develop small leaks. BMW dealers may charge several thousand dollars to replace these air springs. Arnott makes an improved compatible air spring for the X5 so I purchased 2 of them intending to do the work myself.
But - having done work with Jack at German Auto Tech in the past and been very happy with the work he and his team has done, I called him to see if I could get the car in to the shop. He said I could bring it in the next day so I did. He replaced both air springs and tested the air suspension system. Everything is working great.
Once again, I am very pleased with not only the work that was done but with the focus Jack and German Auto Tech has on customer relations. They always go above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible.

Our daughter lives in a Boston burb near NH and we've found a shop I would trust with my wallet and my BMW even 850 miles away... This summer she had a serious failure which dictated a trip on a roll-back for evaluation. After a day or 2 of extensive diagnosis, they found that it had a failed turbo with an impeller making very minor housing contact (only at temp).
Turbo replaced as well as some other needed work and she was out-the-door at a cost MUCH LESS than the local dealer (who thru this service we STRONGLY SUSPECT was NOT changing oil as requested as the oil was broken down and led to a low oil-pressure) who we now will NEVER TRUST.
Jack the owner went out-of-his-way during this process and even gave me his cell in the event that we needed anything. Subsequent visits have only made this Dad & gearhead trust and love him more. Yes he's a New Englander - duh. Understand him, work with him, and if you can't trust him and his shop it's likely YOUR issue and not his!
Oh - he also has a guru of a ECU / computer / electrical tech who also teaches at MIT. He's got talent here who can flat be trusted.

Visiting New England with a VW rental car when an emergency light came on. Googled this place, stopped in and talked with Jack. He quickly looked over the car, fixed our issue and sent us on our way in no time! Perfect fix for what could have been a bad vacation starter.

Brought our car (VW) in for a EPC light. Fast diagnosis, a reasonable estimate on when the work would be complete and good communication throughout the process. Sensible recommendations as the work progressed and in the end I felt the cost was a fair representation of the work and the expertise that resides within the walls of their garage. Highly recommend these guys. They will be the best bang for your buck and do the job correctly.

I live in Cambridge, and German Performance in Alston is my go-to, but I was looking at a car in Rowley, and Marc recommended Damon. The car had a number of problems of which I was unaware, and so I didn't buy it, but I am so glad that Damon saved me (my daughter) from that train wreck. Thank you Damon! Well done! Highly recommended!!
