“Above and beyond! Eddie to the rescue, literally. My car wouldn't start at 4:30 on Friday while parked at a store in town. After 3 failed jumps we called AAA for a tow (and a 90 minute wait...). I called Eddie to see what time the shop closed and instead of saying see you tomorrow, he asked where I was and immediately drove down to meet me to see if he could get it started. He knew all the tricks, got it started somehow, drove it back to his shop to fix it and it was ready first thing the next day. Unbelievable service from a mechanic who is honest and cares about his customers. Thank you!”

“We were hearing a banging noise in our Tundra while on vacation in Salisbury, MA. After checking reviews we decided to stop in at Grays garage. He was very busy but made time to listen to my husband, and gave him an appointment for the next day. We went early to let the exhaust pipe cool, he took us right away and removed a broken Leaf spring, charged us $30. He is honest, clean garage, efficient, I would recommend Grays before anyone else in the area.”

He replaced the Transmission and clutch in my Cummins Swapped SquareBody Chevy and rebuilt the rear end for me this time around.
last time I brought him my truck, I had him mount some custom, large, load range E tires that nobody else could seem to balance properly and he was able to get it done with no problem and gave me the best alignment I’ve ever had on a 40 year-old truck that tracks straight as an arrow down the highway at 75 miles an hour.
I should also mention that I usually work on all my own vehicles for the past 30 years , including custom builds and repairs, I don’t always have time and there’s only a few shops I would ever trust to work on my stuff and he is one of them, Especially if I do encounter something that’s beyond my skill set.”
“We have gone here 3 times and each time had a great experience. The first time was great because bjs was having a sale and we paid less for tires than we ever have before. The second trip was for the free rotation. There were a couple of people ahead of us and our kids were starting to get fussy. An employee who actually might have been on his break at the time stepped in and helped us get service quicker. This last time (in our other car) we got a flat tire on route 1. We drove in on a Saturday at 1 oclock. Within 30 minutes the employee inspected the tire, found the leak, showed us the object and the hole so we knew there was no way it was going to get patched, verified that they had the right tire in stock and had a quality tire mounted for a great price. What could have been a terrible event ended up being a minor inconvenience. Thanks for the help!”

With an appointment set up, I drove down from Portland, Maine and met Ali in person. A few hours later I drove home in my new Hyundai at a great price with a fair trade in value. The car was detailed and the extras that McFarland included, most notably the 3 years, 36k of service and exterior protective coating, helped to seal the deal. Ali worked with me throughout the entire purchasing process. For the first car I negotiated without the help of my mother, The entire trip to McFarland could not have gone better! “Every other time I have been there it was great. I called earlier and asked if I need an appointment for my tire because I had a nail in it or could I just show up? He said yeah just come by. I show up an hour later and he says he's the only one there and it wouldn't be for atleast a few hours. Really wish he would of said something like that on the phone. And when I was there he was pretty much talking to me walking away from me. Ended up leaving. Still leaving 5 stars because I'm not a dick, and every other time was great, but I definitely did not enjoy this experience.”

“The team at Monro Auto Service in Exeter went above and beyond to help me and to fix my van the same day. They worked hard to remove rusted and fused bolts and rotors parts. My brakes feel so solid and safe and I feel like I can stop on a dime. They did an amazing job on my alignment too. My van drives straight as an arrow. I came in to do an alignment and my brakes froze when they were backing it out of the bay. I started to cry when I realized the amount of work that needed to be done on my van. The Manager, Paul, who has a heart of GOLD, made me some coffee and worked with me to prioritize what needed to fixed and made it as affordable as possible. I can't thank Paul and the team that worked on my van enough. I am life long customer that is for sure. Thank you everyone at Monro in Exeter. You all are amazing!!”
“Had a flat on highway. Looked up where to go. My GPS pointed me to this Sullivan tire. Got there just in time as tire pressure was in stress. Seabrook NH from intake to servicing were aces. Jason was very accommodating at front desk. Manager (Ben) who did initial intake was professional and courteous. They seemed honest and there were no hassles. Fixed my tire and got an alignment. Nice people. I would go there again even though further away.”
