Amherst Books is a small but fabulous bookstore in the heart of Amherst, Massachusetts. It offers a great selection of new and used books and textbooks. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, well-informed, and provides prompt and professional service, including excellent shipping and special orders. The store packs plenty of books into its space and features unique items like a poetry dispensing machine and book-oriented gifts. It is considered a fine part of a lively downtown, providing a very warm welcome and a cool place where customers could spend hours.
Amazing selection of books for a reasonable price!! Love the discounted, used books section -- lots of hidden gems in there. The clerk was incredibly friendly and helpful, as well.

I ordered a book as a gift with them through email and they were really attentive and nice, plus they gift-wrapped it and sent it to my giftee really fast! Would recommend ^^

This is an interesting place to visit. The staff here were very friendly and professional. They had many good books my girlfriend was interested in. There is plenty of paid parking all around the area. They also have some cool little knik knacks for sale. We are looking forward to going back again soon!
