Very basic wine selection directed at basic college kids and people who don't know wine. Indifferent customer service. Smells like gross, spoiled food for some reason. Go somewhere like Big Y where they have a sommelier on staff and the store doesn't smell like hot garbage.

Amherst Liquors is the only store I go to in the area! The owner and all the employees are super friendly and helpful. There are a wide variety of drink options, and the owner is helpful in ordering anything out of stock and is always open to new suggestions! There’s no where I’d rather go!

This store is convenient with Awesome customer service! All the staff members are wonderful. Neal is wonderful & always very helpful & is all for his customers satisfaction. As for the previous review, from the person complaining about people not wearing masks. They clearly do NOT understand the law in full. The law states yes it’s “required” BUT if someone has a health issue in any way that prevents them from wearing a mask, the store owner/manager/employees can NOT in any way question them on it, ask for proof or “nag” them about not wearing one..If they do, then YES they can get in trouble for it. Neal is a smart guy! He knows the law & he knows his clientele as well. I recommend Amherst Liquors, 100%! Hands down.

Most places illegally refuse me service when I don’t wear a mask because of my health issues. But Amherst Liquors knows what’s up, they’re so chill in there. Wanna ware a mask? That’s fine. Have asthma? That’s fine too. Only Karen’s leave 1 stars.
