My experience with Oran Kaufman was very positive. He was quite knowledgeable about divorce law and provided us with good advice. Oran was open to listening to our thoughts, helped us work through some issues and respectfully made changes to our separation agreement according to our wishes. I would highly recommend him if you are choosing to go the mediation route. It is truly a more cost effective way to proceed especially if things are amicable.

He is an excellent Attorney. His mediation services were wonderful. His is a great communicator. He was very helpful during a difficult time working through a separation agreement. He is very empathetic and compassionate. I would highly recommend his services!!

Oran shepherded us through the divorce process with kindness, patience, fairness and many, many years of experience understanding the legal requirements of a quasi-DIY divorce. (He skillfully assists you in filling out divorce paperwork in a way that will satisfy the judge and the court system.) Our case went smoothly. That said, we did have a fairly straightforward, non-contentious situation. For our circumstances, Oran's services were the perfect option: relatively inexpensive and effective. Highly recommend him!

I found the process of mediation and working with Oran smooth and efficient. We met mostly on-line, reaching agreements through dialogue and a common document. With something as challenging as divorce, Oran helped us address all relevant issues and talk through any potential conflicts. I'll add that his fees are reasonable and he did not waste our time; the whole process proved significantly less expensive than fighting things out with lawyers.

Oran was fantastic. He helped us figure out what we needed for ourselves in the divorce and offered poignant guidance at every step of our process. He even went above and beyond and followed up with the court multiple times after we fell through the cracks to grease the administrative wheels and get our process moving. We had no issues in the courtroom because of his guidance and preparation. Be mindful that divorce mediators are people and professionals, not couples therapists. All you have to do is go in with that mentality and common courtesy and you'll be amazed with Oran!

My ex and I worked with Oran Kaufman to mediate a friendly divorce which is no small feat after 35 years of marriage. When he told us that his job was to be totally unbiased and that he would insist upon everything being communicated to both my ex and me, he meant it. He takes his role as mediator very seriously. His fees are reasonable and he does not charge for every breath he takes as did another mediator with whom we were working and who we cut ties with for doing a less than adequate job. Oran is terrific! One of life's most unpleasant things to do was made much easier with his help.

As anyone reading this knows, divorce is difficult and complicated. Oran guided us through this process and I felt supported with each step.I asked around for recommendations and my neighbor, a retired judge, spoke very highly of Oran and his commitment to working for the greater good of families. I found this to be true, along with his focus on the issues at hand and finding the most practical solutions. He was equal parts empathetic, professional, and efficient. Zoom is not an ideal way to meet, but he made it work for us and did not waste our time and money. He addressed what was most important and saw us all the way through the process.I am so glad we chose to work with Oran and appreciate all his help!

Oran is an excellent choice for divorce mediation due to his welcoming and empathetic demeanor, sound advice, and ability to cut through the "clutter" with the process itself. I found his guidance to be extremely helpful, and his attention to detail in preparing us for our hearing was exactly what we needed to complete the process completely and efficiently. I have heard HORROR stories of mediators... I am so glad to have worked with Oran! The process was efficient and reasonably priced - but most of all he did a PHENOMENAL job of staying impartial and providing us with examples of ideas when we got stuck. He kept us focused on being productive and kept things moving forward. I can't recommend Oran enough. He's a life line during a difficult time!

My ex and I decided it was time to divorce in 2020 yet we did not want to give away all of our savings to have two lawyers fight it out in court for years. We researched the most practical attorney/mediator for our needs. We decided on Oran. He is extremely professional and provided us with sound advice based on our thoughts on what we both wanted in the divorce settlement. He pointed out areas of concern that we negotiated, as well as prepped us for our 'Zoom' day in court. Everything was handled in a professional manner and at a very reasonable price!
