I LOVE this place! Such a great selection of local, handmade goods and art. I always come here to buy gifts for friends and family. To top it off, they have the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever seen AND they give out free popcorn. I couldn’t not recommend this place enough!!

I second everything another reviewer posted about this being an old timey general store. I finally was able to peruse the whole store today. I found three local artists' work that I love (I grabbed their business cards) and discovered some new flavor infused Maple syrups and dry spice blends. There's a ton of stuff there so go enjoy the experience. Staff was extremely friendly today (doggie included in that sentiment too). A little off the beaten path but there's coffee cafe/restaurant/cakery within walking distance of the parking lot.

This place is reminiscent of an old-time general store with the high volume and array of products they offer. It is one of those stores where you can go in and wonder for a good half hour just to take in all the things they have. Although its location is a bit off the beaten path, it is worth the little effort it takes to get there. If you time it right, you may be greeted with freshly popped popcorn to munch while you're looking around. They have everything imaginable, from specialty food products to clothing, to toys, and fine art. Handicapped accessible with plenty of parking available. If you've found this review helpful, please tap the thumbs up to let me know. Thanks!

General country store combined with local art gallery. Fun to look around, good quality soaps. Candles and some nostalgic stuff. Did buy some homegrown popcorn to try. Little high priced but turned out to be absolutely delicious. Recommend stopping by has a little something for everyone

This is such a fun place to visit! The employees are so warm and welcoming. The shelves are stocked with interesting and unique items that make great gifts or treats for yourself. Every time I visit there are new things in stock and I leave with something unexpected that makes me smile. Not to mention the bathrooms, which are both must-see. Trust me!! Very glad to have this shop in our community.

Visited this store after my daughter gifted me with presents she purchased there and it was a delightful experience! Practical and artistic delights in abundance as well as yummy sweets and an artisan gallery. I did not come in for purchasing original art yet ended up doing so and many are the compliments on these recent additions to my home's walls. Shannon was wonderful to work with and now the The Mill Store is a destination whenever I'm in western Mass for both purchasing gifts and enjoying local art work.

Sweet and attractive shop with all sorts of goodies. Start by getting a cuppa Esselon coffee, or hot tea. Then browse the vintage candies, maple syrup, household goods (I saw a really cute measuring set for the kitchen). Opposite the entrance end you'll find an artist gallery with affordable art and jewelry. In between the gallery and general store you'll find art supplies! Oh and the owners are pretty darn friendly!

I spent a couple hours in here over a few different days to check out all of their products and I am really impressed! The General Store is also connected to the Local Art Gallery, where they have displays of many different artists and types of artwork. The Mill District General Store has nearly everything in it. They have gardening tools, clothes, bedding, picnic baskets, cleaning supplies, shaving supplies, handmade candles, cat + dog food and toys, kids toys and books, maple syrup products, mugs, candles, pots + pans, and an assortment of just about everything. They also have art supplies for sketching, drawing, painting, etc. The first day I visited, I was helped by Anthony. The second time Shannon was super helpful, along with Manny, the sweet pup! The third time, Lewis helped me. Every staff member was genuinely happy to be working here and it made it a very pleasant shopping experience. They have a lot of great inventory, just make sure you have some time to check it out! They also have a pretty good coffee station with mugs.
