I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn and Tommy. I needed to replace a bulb in my microwave oven. After finding the appropriate part, both men were able to assemble and disassemble the outside, and insert the new part after some drilling and replacement of screws. They were cool, calm and collected during the whole ordeal and never appeared rushed. Thank you to everyone at the store, I will visit again soon!Susan LundstromLexington, MA

Shattuck is my go-to hardware store. They've got plenty of selection across most all departments including a great loose hardware selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too.

A local gem. A hardware store that has everything - somewhere. If you can't find it, ask and they will take you to it. Just a little more expensive than Home Depot, but they provide good service to help you make a decision and how to install it.They have 2 locations in Arlington and one in Lexington.

Fantastic store, great employees and service. I had such a pleasant experience with cashier Grace (I believe that was her name) - after shopping in so many big box stores where staff couldn't be bothered with you, Grace restored my faith in humanity! More stores need employees like Grace!

Love long standing local businesses focused on serving the community.This place is just that . As the oldest business in arlington, they continue to deliver a high level if service combined with knowledge that brings you more than the big box stores can. I ordered and oversized 26”webber charcoal kettle from an ACE hardware which has been just an excellent grill. I had worn out the bottom charcoal grate . .Shattucks had two of these rarer grills in Stock and offered to take the bottom grate from one of these new units if i needed my part fast . Exceptional value reflected right there :)You wont believe how much they ock into this surprising large store

Since they are a certified Stihl dealer I expected better customer service then what I got. The staff can’t really answer questions about the Stihl products.
