Good selection but disappointing to see that they’re locking $10 wrenches now behind plastic bits that you have to ask an employee to unlock. Really dislike this new retail trend considering that this store is in Arlington….not exactly an area known for shoplifting

Since we lived in Firestone Park in the 90s, I almost always go to this Ace Hardware. But about a year ago when I needed some screws that would go into concrete, I was in the Falls and stopped into Menards "to save time". The customer service representative was eager please but had zero knowledge about what I was asking or where to find that type of screw. We wasted at least 20 minutes.So I left straight from there and came to Ace hardware in Firestone Park, and they knew exactly what I needed and suggested a drill bit that ended up being perfect for my needs.They have always been highly knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great.Don't waste your time anywhere else ?

Absolutely, hands down, the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at any store I have visited. John helped me through a challenging time with a product bought from a big box store, helped with registration and warranty, and resolved my issue promptly. The communication was top notch, answered every email in a professional and sincere manner. Even though other stores are closer, I will buy all my larger purchases through Shattucks going forward.
