“We recently booked this place for a friend's milestone birthday. The instructor was amazing and very thorough. She patiently explained what mosaic art was and what an artist inside us could do. The choices of mosaic are just outstanding that includes glass, stones and metals if we needed to go wild. The place is very clean and the instructor never rushed us. Worth a class or more if you live around.”

“It was my first time in Boston and I was thrilled to visit! The owner was fabulous, the yarn was spectacular and the visit was more than I could have hoped for. I walked out with gorgeous yarn - the fibre, colours and variety were on point!!! Thank you for the opportunity to spend (not enough) time in your gorgeous yarn store!!”

“Tsering is wonderful and his shop is great! He helped me find beautiful beads for a necklace I am making, and I couldn’t find beads like this anywhere else in the area.”

“I stopped by the store hoping to find everything I needed to create a DIY guest scrapbook, but I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for (I’m extremely detail-oriented!). Fortunately, the wonderful Helen came to the rescue. She was attentive, helpful, polite, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience.

The store is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit! Thank you, Helen, for all your help. Liam’s grandpa truly appreciates it!”

“I took my first-ever pottery wheel lesson at Thrown Ceramics and had the BEST time! Diana was an incredible instructor - patient, encouraging, relaxed, and great at breaking down the steps so even a total beginner like me could actually make something on the wheel. She explained the process and steps so well (and without anything feeling overwhelming) that I instantly knew I'd found my newest hobby! Thanks to Diana's lesson I was able to make a mug and I'm so proud that I made anything at all, let alone a mug (which I've used everyday now)!

The studio is absolutely gorgeous so charming - it has such a calm, welcoming vibe. Mike and Diana are so welcoming and approachable, and have clearly created a space that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in and it feels like the kind of place where you immediately want to stay and keep creating.

They also have an incredible selection of glazes, tools, and beautiful handmade pieces and gifts in the shop. Mike and Diana were so kind and knowledgeable as I asked millions of questions on what the different tools were used for, it's really cool that they have such a variety. AND they're right across from the Waban T stop which I love.

I walked in excited to just try out something new but left completely hooked on ceramics. I can’t wait to go back for more lessons!”

“The store is very big and has a little of everything, as you can see from my pictures.

A lot of things were out of stock (like the whole section of textile), but I guess it is understandable in the very beginning of the academic year.

In general - a very useful place in this location of Boston, as everything else with crafts and art supplies is not close by... except the Tufts art store near MFA, but it is tiny and doesn't have much.”

“Ginger beef donburi is so addicting
It is more on a fusion side but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it for the past 2 years. I just wish they opened earlier so I can get it for lunch too”

“I am a painting contractor and I deal with many stores and I know Colorworks since I worked as a painter for another company and I'm always treated as a valuable customer. I basically work in the Metrowest/Northfolk areas rarely in the Northshore, but I still have mostly of my project orders coming/made from Colorworks. They are the best in matching colors. All the staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable about the product. I'll definetelly keep using their services!”
