“I need to throw an 80 lbs tree and lift and throw heavy rocks”……
Coach Larry helped me prep for my first ever strong man competition (Highland Games) with some custom work outs, technique review and power lift form review.
The Xfit Accolade classes / training translated perfectly to some of the dynamic lifts & throws at the games.
Very thankful and proud of some good results at my first ever competitive lift!

Prior to joining Accolade, I had never done CrossFit. Brad and Larry do a great job of getting to know their members and accommodating needs. The classes are tailored for multiple still levels. Coaches are helpful and knowledgeable. Members are welcoming and kind. I've been most impressed by my personal training sessions. Once again, Brad and Larry, have been really accommodating with respect to making personal training work for me along with my membership. And my personal trainer is great. Highly recommend Accolade!

This is a great family-owned gym, with a caring and welcoming atmosphere. The recent renovations have brought the equipment squarely up to date. There are many group classes included in the membership, and the trainers are excellent.

Only good things to say about Accolade in Arlington and even though a smaller space, it is honestly the best gym/box I've ever worked out at (that includes a lot of gyms in both Sweden and NYC/Boston)!Accolade offers smaller sized classes (up to 12 people I believe), which enables the coaches to really focus their attention on each and every individual. The coaches are AMAZING (LP, Walt, Paul, Larry, Brad, Jen, etc.) and no matter where you're at in terms of skills and strength, they take time to assist and instruct each movement to make sure you improve as an athlete.ALWAYS a great atmosphere with both coaches and members being super friendly and welcoming! My husband and I loved it and miss it already (had to cancel our memberships as we moved into the city, but fingers crossed that we'll be back one day!). Lastly, if you're thinking about joining - GO TRY IT OUT! You definitely won't regret it :)

I mentioned to my wife that this place looked interesting and that we should check it out as we're looking to workout together. She used the website to book a chat ("Speak with one of our coaches to find out if Crossfit Accolade is right for you..."). We received an automated email calendar appointment and an automated text message about our upcoming appointment. It all seemed great and we were looking forward to going. We arrived at the appointed hour that night and were a bit underwhelmed by the look of the place, but totally willing to give it a shot. We walked in and were immediately standing among a group of people trying to work out, so that was awkward. There was one trainer in the back of the place, but he was gazing into his computer I think hoping we would leave? After a minute or two when it was clear that he wasn't going to greet us, I walked over and mentioned that we were here for our 6pm chat. He seemed perplexed by this, probably because he was about to lead a class and seemingly hadn't been told about any appointments. He tried texting the owners, but I guess he couldn't get in touch with them.To prevent the entire appointment from turning into a bigger waste of time, we asked if we could watch the class he was leading. He agreed and we watched two people do some minor leg stretches for a couple of minutes while he said some random things about deadlifts. I couldn't tell if it was an intro class; it seemed like one, but then why would you mention deadlifts one minute into an intro class? Nothing really made sense here at this point, to be honest.I asked if it would be better for us to come on a different day and he suggested that there's some type of "on-boarding" class on Thursdays. I guess I'm weird, but I really don't want to take _any_ classes until I know more about the gym, their philosophy, their hours, prices, etc. And for all they know, I could have a knee injury or something.Sorry to be a downer on this place, hope they can fix these issues!

My favorite gym. The staff are lovely and the equipment is more than sufficient for power lifting and bodybuilding.

Fantastic local CrossFit gym! Great community, fabulous coaching. I tried it out having never done CrossFit (and I was a bit wary, tbh), and I was very pleasantly surprised! There is a very healthy atmosphere here—not super competitive, just about getting the workout you want and having a great experience.

This is a great place to work out. The workouts are challenging, but they know how to scale them to your current fitness level.

Never had done CrossFit before coming to Accolade and I must say I’m impressed. Brad and Larry do a great job of connecting and tailoring workouts for different skill sets and connecting on a personal level. Equipment is brand new and the facility inspires grit. They’ve done a great job of making sure everything is properly sanitized and COVID safe. I’d highly recommend this place to any current CrossFit athletes looking for a gym or workout enthusiasts who want to try something new.
