Menotomy Rocks Park is a convenient and beautiful park that offers something for everyone, regardless of the time of year. The park features hilly areas, a small pond, and a playground for children. While dogs are technically not allowed off-leash, the park is secluded enough for owners to let their furry companions run and play without worrying about them running into the road. The park is a popular destination for dog owners, with many friendly pups and their owners mingling, especially in the mornings. The wooded area has wide, easy-to-navigate trails, and the shaded playground area is decent, although the big slide can be tricky for younger children to access. Overall, Menotomy Rocks Park is a small, charming park that offers a peaceful and relaxing experience, especially in the colder seasons.
Nice walking trails and very well kept forests without any trash or such. It’s kid friendly but please note that playground is closed. And there are dedicated off leash hours for dogs; generally 6-9 am.

Lovely park with wooded areas and a pond. Shame that the city removed the playground in 2023 or 2024. Only downside is dog owners who don't follow leash laws. If you're scared of dogs, beware.

A great place to walk in the woods -- in the middle of Arlington! Elevation changes, large rocks, a pond -- you can pretend you are far from the city.
