I went to the Arlington location with a mix of blood, stools and breath tests. The office was very busy I was seen by Autumn and Tara. Autumn couldn’t even figure out which one of my tests was blood or fecal. She had to ask to Tara multiple times. I shared I have needle fobia, and I get nervous during blood draws. Autumn made a snarky comment like how can you be agitated that the needle is not even out? I had to remind her the definition of fobia. She couldn’t even feel my veins. I don’t have the most visible veins, but competent flebotomists can find my veins no problem. Then she called Tara. Tara tried to pinch me and she did so superficially at skin level and then started digging to find my vein. It was very painful and I had to tell her to stop. I also was given vials for fecal test with no instructions. It was the worst experience at a medical office I have ever had. I want the day after to the quest office of my PCP at SMG Allston, and they have a wonderful flebotomist named BISA. She had to spend twenty minutes fixing all the mess Autumn and Tara made on my blood samples, they paired them wrong and even charged me for a blood draw that never happened. BISA found my vein in a second. People that are so young, inexperienced and careless should not be allowed to run by themselves a quest location, maybe should not even be allowed get into a career in patient services given the total lack of bedside manners. I had good experiences in this location with a competent flebotomist before. Now that these kids are employed I recommend finding another location unless you want to wait forever, be treated poorly and have to deal with incompetence at its best expression.

Very slow, understaffed, no one at the desk. I waited there over an hour - and the parking lot of course charges you $5 an hour. Then they announced that they don't do screening after 4:00 p.m. so I had to leave with nothing to show for it. They tell you to get an appointment online but they never answer their 800 number and never call you back if you get in the virtual queue. Just terrible service all around. Terrible company.

Horrible service. Not very sanitary. The appointments are made only to ensure that you get serviced but definitely not on time. It took me an extra 40 minute wait to be seen. The staff is generally friendly but that place has a problem in the way they operate and it definitely needs to be addressed. They have way too many print out notifications on their walls and that's not acceptable for such an establishment. If you have free time that day and you live nearby go there. However, if you are in a hurry I would say go to a different location.

I gave this place a solid 4 because I use it very frequently and had never had a bad experience there. Nonetheless, be ready when your turn comes around. That means having your prescription sent to the staff, creating an account with quest, picking a time ( there are few, so plan ahead). The staff is helpful and filled with empathy. Anyone giving a bad review to this spot are generally walk-ins and will have to wait online a while before being seen. Follow the steps above and you’ ll be just fine

After reading all the negative reviews I was a bit worried to make my appointment for an employer drug test here. But the staff were very friendly and I was called in less than 10 min after arriving. Probably a good idea to schedule an appointment to avoid the wait for walk ins.

Good, professional experience by the staff. Little wait if you book the prior business day. Only complaint is no WiFi; I had to step outside to send over my script.

Autumn, on her first day on her own, shows excellent capacity, and she has a "good hand " for taking the blood analysis

Phlebotomist was extremely good with my 5yo who was the patient. He spoke with her directly, and explained everything he was doing while keeping it light and fun for her. Super impressed!

I'm surprised at the negative reviews, as I've used the place for years and never had any problems at all. They do seem a bit understaffed, and sometimes (if you have an appointment) it might run a few minutes late, but nobody has ever been rude to me or had bad attitude.

Terrible experience, had to a drug test for an employer, claimed they had walk-ins but waited for 2 hrs and no one would tell me anything. Then j made an appointment only to come, wait for 30mins and realize they weren't doing the tests and no one even told me.
Terrible terrible, avoid if you can.

I had a wonderful experience as a walk in around 11 am on a Tuesday afternoon. It’s a small waiting room with a tablet to sign in. There’s no receptionist at the front you just wait until you are called up. There’s water available too. Please note urine drug screens are only done between 9:30a-4p. I waited about 1 hr before being seen which I thought was very reasonable. There were 2 employees taking patients. Jay (I think that’s what his coworker called him) was so kind, professional, and thorough. He provided a great and quick experience. I would recommend this location.

Esther is a delight, quick and gentle. The office overall needs an overhaul... and a receptionist!

I made an appointment online ahead of time for 9:10am, arrived at 9:05am, checked in at the kiosk, was seen within 5 mins, and the two people working there were friendly and efficient. I know a lot of people have had negative experiences here, but I personally had no issues.

Have had many great experiences here, but recently fainted during an appointment and the staff were incredible (Tara and Esther!!). They went above and beyond. Reminder to schedule an appointment rather than doing a walk in- this is a busy location!
