Nice location for the dogs during the off season. The town shouldn't be able to close it to the non-paying public during the summer since we all pay taxes on it.Dog-friendliness: Arlington has archaic off leash rules, but a nice place for dogs if you're willing to break them

The Res is a great area for swimming. In the deeper water you cannot see the bottom. They have a very nice beach area as well as a small field and playground. It’s very nice if you don’t mind the price to get for in which is $8 for an adult for one entry. If you will be going often I would recommend a season pass. The playground is free.Playground: Nice new playground that’s free

Love Arlington Resevoir/Beach! It’s a great place for everyone, but it is especially great if you have young children, as the water is very shallow, clean and calm. Also plenty of seating area, playgrounds, and walking paths. My only complaint would be to have a lifeguard or two watching swimmers. I took my son for a splash today; he had a slight mishap and was struggling to get himself above water. It was scary and he was definitely shaken up afterward but luckily I was paying attention and got him out of the water before anything happened.

Very nice. Granted we were breaking the law because I guess swimming was done a week ago, but a good time had by all.

The Arlington Reservoir is definitely a surprising experience‼️ Such an innovative idea to section off a part of the reservoir to create a pristine, man made, filtered swimming area with a sandy beach. It is complete with a walking path around the waterway, multiple playgrounds, picnic and restrooms with changing areas.Swimming with the resident ducks was a fun experience as they seem to prefer clean water as well. I loved it‼️

Brought my 3 granddaughters here to swim for the day. The water was warm. The 2 year old had a blast playing in the sand and water. Followed up our day with some pizza from Andrinas

A cute beach in town (little treasure, not easy to find), with a nice play area nearby.

Renovations have made the Arlington Reservoir and beach this year. The water is clear and clean, and shallow enough a good length out for younger children and deep enough far from the shore for adults to swim laps. There are a few little water features that add to the fun, and a new playground will be completed sometime between fall '21 and summer '22. There are several large trees for shade, as well as a large sandy area. Also a nice large grass lawn. The snack bar currently has drinks and snacks. I believe they will have some lunch items again but as of August 2021 it’s just snacks. If you are driving, there is a parking lot adjacent to the beach and I have never seen it completely full. There is also a nice path around the reservoir for walking, running, and cycling. The Minuteman bike path is also nearby so you could easily bike over to the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach off-season only and it’s a nice fenced-in area for them to play. Especially great for younger kids but people of all ages go with or without kids. You can buy a season pass or pay $5 for a day pass. The beach closes for swimming a couple of weeks before labor day and opens in late June.
