This place is a joke. Made an appointment online. Said it would take 20-30 min for the job. They even ask you to be earlier than the scheduled time to check in. However, they do not honor the time at all!. After over 40 min waiting, my car is not even pulled in yet. Why do you even bother to have a reservation system with time slots if you don't plan to respect it?

Waited months for them to replace my Tesla model Y cracked windshield. They were simply unable to get one. Finally gave up and went to Tesla in Peobody and got it replaced.

Staff at this location are friendly and efficient, my repair was done on time as promised with no noticeable issues afterwards. My only gripe is that I came back for a replacement after my initial windshield was found to be damaged. The following day that I came back there were still imperfections in the replacement glass (Not the fault of the onsite staff). At this point I bit the proverbial bullet and called it a day. I could not come back for a third retry at this point and lived with my decision. Quality Control from the warehouse to the shop could be improved substantially.

So I was driving on 95 last week & a rock kicked up & chipped my windshield- it was a fairly sizable chip & it had a few cracks starting to spider out from it, so naturally I was nervous about it completely cracking. So I called my insurance company's car glass number late last night & they made it super easy to schedule an appointment NEXT DAY- i really thought I'd have to wait at least til next week, so that was a happy surprise. Also, because it was a repair & not a replacement, there was no out of pocket payment, which these days of everything costing an arm & a leg, was great. I brought my car to safelite in Arlington, a couple miles from my house on Mass Ave. The guys there are really nice, very explanatory & quick- from start to finish it was about a half hour. And even though the chip was on the larger side, they were able to fix it to where it's almost invisible (I understand that they can't always guarantee that you won't be able to see the spot depending on the damage). I wish I had thought to take before & after pics, but trust me, my mechanic husband is a perfectionist about this stuff & when he saw it he said "wow they did a great job!" All in all, it was a great experience & now I don't have to worry about my windshield cracking in half whenever I accidentally hit a pothole, which is another issue altogether. So if you ever need your car's glass repaired/ replaced, I highly recommend the guys at Safelite in Arlington- they don't disappoint!

The Safelite in Arlington MA helped me replace the windshield on my car with high quality professional work and service. They responded to my inquiries quickly and helped navigate insurance claim process. The appointment was scheduled within a day and work was done in an hour! No hassle! I’d recommend it to all my friends!

Worst company ever.I scheduled an appointment, thru Gieco, for 4:00 today, and NOBODY IS HERE.They don’t have a phone number (because they’re the worst) so Geico does a 3 way call, and their phone barely works.IDIOTS.50 minutes wasted so far. This job should be DONE by now.

Friendly welcome and quality work, thank you!The facilities are sub-par, but there's free water in the cooler, a restroom, and WiFi.

Short version: Safelite completed the service, which is why this is still a 3-star review, but the appointment I made (that came with instructions that I followed and scheduled my entire day around) apparently didn’t matter at all and they tried to change everything up on me when I went to drop my car off.Longer version: I scheduled a chip repair appointment using the safelite online appointment scheduling tool. I received at least three reminder texts, a phone call, and a couple reminder emails telling me to drop my car and keys off in the key drop before 9:30, and pick my car up at the end of the day. I scheduled my day around these instructions. When I arrived, I was 1) scolded for using the key drop, you’re apparently not supposed to do that if safelite is open 2) told I should have not made an appointment and instead done walk-in for chip repair and 3) told I couldn’t leave my car, I had to wait until the repair was done because there was a lot of cars booked that day. I straight-up answered, “I used your online scheduling tool and I am following the instructions in the appointment reminders. I scheduled my entire day around this; I cannot wait here and need to leave my car.” For reasons involving commuting to work, I could not take my car back until the afternoon, even though the repair was supposed to be short, because that's how I had structured my day based on the appointment reminders. It was frustrating because I was made to feel like I was asking for special treatment, when all I wanted was for things to happen the way the ~7 appointment reminders I received told me it would happen. Just a heads-up for anyone using SafeLite’s appointment scheduling tool.

Had to go back 3 times because they couldn't complete calibration. After the third attempt, they told me they don't usually handle calibrations because their shop is too small (?) to do them.I now have to go to a different Safelite location for a 4th appointment. ?♂️

The gentleman who greeted and took the car I don't think he had a good night the night before he was very grumpy but overall good job

4 appointments, broken website, smashed incoming glass, broken rear view mirror holder. 2.5 weeks later they finally replaced the windshield but I am not noticing the quality of the windshield is very poor. It looks wavy and distorts the road. Go somewhere else. Only good thing is how easy it is to get in and trapped into their system with their insurance provider integration. Honestly seems like a big corporation.

They were accommodating given that appointments are not available for several days after you call. Make sure you check with your insurance about renting a car until your appointment.

Never going to any Safelite again. I scheduled at this place after a previous Safelite told me not to attempt to fix a rock chip, only for it to turn into a 1-foot crack 4 days later. The technician at the Arlington location cracked the touch screen on my Tesla without even noticing. He asked me why the touch screen wasn't working and I SHOWED HIM the crack in the screen! The earliest I could schedule a screen replacement is 8 days from now, so until then, my car is navigating me to random locations, giving me bad verbal instructions I can't mute, and randomly disabling the repeater cameras while I'm trying to change lanes. The music and bluetooth are also totally disabled. Safelite offered to pay for the full replacement, but this is an extreme inconvenience and irritation for operating my car. I'm relieved the car is even driveable after they finished with it. The tech also left dirty finger marks in my interior A pillar for good measure.

I would use a different company. The glass is not as visually clear as Honda's, and some marks don't come off in my view. I bet they can buff them out, but not holding my breath. They also just let my key remote starter unit (originally attached to the old windshield, just hanging by two wires. I went and bought the 2-sided clear tape and stuck it on myself. Why would they space on that? So it doesn't leak, is the best I can say. Glad insurance covered it!

Went to the Arlington location and had a drop and go appt. Didnt realize that that meant my car would be done at night. Business closes at 5 so when I didnt hear back I grabbed an uber and arrived at 4:55. Found out they hadnt even touched my car yet, it would be an hour before getting my car in and then another hour for the windshield. It wouldnt have even been so frustrating had I not had to deal with an attitude of the cashier who kept rolling his eyes and making snide comments. I had never had a problem with Safelite in the past which is why I chose them again. NEVER AGAIN. Avoid at all costs unless you want to encounter grown men who act like mean girls and stand in an office reeking of cigarettes.
