Thorndike Field is a well-maintained and very clean dog park. It offers good sized, separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Water is available in the spring, summer, and fall. The park is popular, so there are almost always other dogs there to play with, especially during morning and afternoon commuter hours. Owners are present and attentive. The field is right along the bike path, has a modest parking lot, and provides portapotties in non-freezing seasons.
