The staff that help me with my packages have been very efficient and friendly. Only problem I have with the E. Arl branch is that sometimes they are closed for an hour or so in the afternoon. (Now I know to go before 1PM) Arlington is lucky to have two post offices within a mile 1/2 of each other, though, so if I don't have time to come back to this small Post Office, I can go to the main one.

I waited for 40 minutes and came again, but still it was closed .

Poor service, package was delivered late. Better not to trust usps if you need some delivered reliably.

Due to understaffing, this post office is often closed mid-day so that the single worker on staff can take a lunch break. Closed retail window service also may occur randomly at the main post office on Court Street, although at least the kiosk and P.O. Boxes are accessible there. Suggest arriving at least an hour after official open and close at any Arlington post office, and avoiding midday to prevent the inconvenience of finding no retail personnel available due to lunch. When the post offices ARE open, great service!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I called to check if my package was still at the USPS store or if it had been delivered to the home address and was stolen. The lady working there was so disrespectful. I couldn’t understand what she was saying on the phone and then she got angry when I asked her to repeat herself. Then she told me to call a different number and hung up on me. I’m absolutely appalled with this type of behavior especially when I was being respectful and just wanted to find out where my package was since it said it had been delivered and I never received it. Good luck to anyone trying to get help from this store. 0/10 I wish I could give it a 0 star rating.

Can’t handle shipping packages abroad. Package was essentially collecting dust for almost half a year. Sent back finally, but it’s at a different location from where we sent it, collecting more dust down the street. So fyi, if you get returned items, they won’t be here ? Good luck, the current staff that work there! Hope you can quit soon and find a job where you’re not miserable 24/7

To the lady who works at this location, Monique Johnson, who seems agitated and angry at all times every time I come into this postal office. As a human, I feel deeply sorry for you. I hope you find strength in you to quit the job that doesn’t make your soul happy and find your inner peace. Best of luck to you and your loved ones who deal with you. Just don’t be angry lady:)

I tried to ship something internationally. The lady told me to “go back to Somerville” as she did not want to help me shipping international packages. This post office is close to where I live Somerville - this was so unnecessary.
