As a previous employee of CC&D, I thoroughly enjoyed working for Tim. Nevermind the great artist he is and can turn anyone's idea into a real hardscape oasis. CC&D truly cares about budget, outcome and expectations.

My journey to install my Reeds Ferry shed was not an easy one. However, that has nothing to do with Tim. We had multiple conversations prior to signing the contract. We both are brutally honest which made it easy. Getting the foundation permit was the struggle. I was so frustrated by it, I almost cancelled the project. Tim went above and beyond pulling statutes for me to submit. He is not only painfully honest, but he talks you through every step of the way. He takes immense pride in his work and remained very present for any questions that may arise. He was available to both the building inspector and Reeds Ferry. The work site was cleaned when completed. Everyone involved in the project was impressed with the quality of my monolithic slab. So, if you are looking for honest, reasonable, reliable and strong work ethics, Tim is your guy!

The only reason I did not give them five stars was the schedule was slightly off by about a week, other than that this is the most professional company I've ever worked with with extremely respectful and talented gentleman who love their job!!!!Highly recommend

Awful experience using this contractor, didn't get the stamped design I wanted and paid more then my original quote to ensure I got what I wanted, contractor had a issue with his supplier driving off his blocking and created a 4 inch low spot in the middle of the street side of my driveway and we were assured that Tim would remove the first 3 ft and repour , never happened, Tim accidentally added me to a email to the concrete supplier, and has never responded since, contractor never put color on the stamped portions of the driveway and never did the sealer on the stamped portions, things I was assured were included in the project9/22/23Was never contacted by the contractor,no resolution was ever made.Service: Driveway installation

CC&D was very responsive, and helpful. Built a custom, brick fire pit in the backyard and I am very happy with the results.

My experience with Concrete Concepts and Design was amazing. While speaking with Tim on the phone for the first time he was able to offer advice on what would work best for my application which in turn brought down the total cost of the job. Tim was more focused on the quality of the finished product than his net gain. I will definitely use Concrete Concepts and Design again.Service: Stamped concrete services

In May of 2020 this company installed a pool deck with stairs that attach to our home. The cost of the deck was an out $15,000. I have invoices to support the amount. After completion of the deck, there was an overflow cap that was partially installed, they were supposed to come finish it after the summer season. That never happened. The following March, 2021, I reached out to the company because I noticed flaking, spalling and ask about the cover. I was told that there was an issue with the sealant used, happened to other clients, needed to find out how to remedy. After asking about the fix throughout that summer, it now became a story that he noticed the concrete flashing as it was being poured. He stated that he contacted ******************************* and they said it should be fine no real issues. I reached out again in October 2021 and he now said that he would have to rip out the whole thing the following spring. And that ****************************** was going to cover the cost of the concrete. Spring of 2022, I was horrified to see the flaking, s falling, substantially worse and Cracks throughout the deck. Was put off again, needed to talk to concrete company. I subsequently reached out to that concrete company to confirm that they were on board, and I got a very angry message that I messed everything up and they would have to work hard to mend that relationship. To this day nothing has been fixed. It has been an emotionally and mentally exhausting situation. Do not use this company!

The project went well for the most part. After a year and a half later we’re still waiting for the job to be completed. The edging around the pool is below expectations. But the main issue is the cap for the sump pump drain located in the middle of the concrete that needs to be finished. At the time, the part was out of stock. It was in stock the very next week and he was supposed to come back and finish. 1-1/2 years later, consistently telling us he will be out to finish, still refuses to address his commitment. We’ve waited a long time to ensure we gave a small business the benefit of the doubt regarding every excuse he has given us. Recently he has said that the cap is poured and it’s ready to be done, scheduled a date and that date came and went, again. At this point, it is appropriate to convey to others our experience. It’s been one heartache after another dealing with this company.

My only reason for sharing this review is to try to get attention from Tim and CCD so they will actually finish the job that we paid them to do. We had a great relationship with Tim and he poured a pool decking for us back in April / May 2021. Everything went as planned, the job was complete (outside of one small thing) and Tim committed to stopping by the next week to install the pour lid which was the very last thing. We paid the last check (HUGE MISTAKE) and planned to see Tim the following week. Not only did Tim never show up that following week but it's now been 1.5 years of failed commitments to get him to show up and finish the last piece of the job. Tim will say that he gave us a free poured lid as a favor and we are being jerks for bugging him about it. It's true that we never asked for the pour lid and it was offered by Tim. We do not care about the pour lid and just want Tim to finish the job, with or without a custom poured lid. Right now, he left us with a hole in our concrete; It's a trip hazard and looks terrible and it would not take him long to come to our house and just finish it / fix it. In the last month alone, he has told me he'd be out 5 different times and then he fails to show up, fails to communicate and I have to reach out again. We've been playing this game for an incredibly long time with many, many excuses on why he hasn't been able to finish the committed job. The best response that can be made on this situation is to get back to our house and just finish the job.

Our project was a pool deck. Tim and the crew demonstrated a true passion for their craft and a love of swimming pools during the initial discussion. Tim did a great job educating us on what it takes to make concrete withstand the elements in New England. The crew at CCD always viewed our project in its entirety, taking the time to understand what we had planned beyond the concrete so they could leave us prepped and ready for the next phase or contractor. The other concrete contractors that we quoted viewed our project as a square footage number and nothing more. The team at CCD was extremely patient with us as we struggled to pick the perfect stamp and color. In the end, they came up with a creative combination of two stamps, using a deep and a shallow stamp to arrive at the medium depth we wanted. Everyone who comes to our house comments on the fantastic job CCD did for us. Based on the education Tim provided us, I’m confident our pool deck will remain beautiful for years to come. We couldn’t be happier with CCD.Service: Stamped concrete services

My wife and I hired CC&D last year to provide us with a pool deck and retaining wall this year. We were so excited to get started and would have had them do the work last year, however, Tim unlike most contractors is brutally honest. He explained that to pour a deck after the pool was installed, without giving it time to settle would be a huge mistake. He actually said, "I won't be a good fit if that's your decision ." Wow!!! So, we automatically knew his company was going to be the best Choice. His crew was very respectful, Tim runs a tight ship, and you can see the respect his guys have for him and he has for them. We couldn't be happier, his knowledge and vision is second to none. We had some really big companies come bid it, really small, and in between. Almost all of them were "positive " we could have poured last year... Tim has proved to be the only one that knows his trade and has the integrity to make decisions without money driving his motives. Highly recommended!!! Thanks Concrete Concepts & Design. Thanks Tim!!Services: Stamped concrete services

Tim and the team were excellent to work with. This was a very difficult job that most folks just said no. Tim took it on and produced an excellent product. Cannot count how many folks have stopped to praise the driveway. Bottom line, if you have a project and want it done right, contact this team.Service: Concrete driveway building

This year has been really rough weather wise with rain as it pushed back our original start date for our concrete patio.Tim had kept me updated along the way. Man oh man was it well worth the wait! He is very passionate about his work and it definitely shows. My wife and I now have a beautiful patio and couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.

Never will you find a more honest and passionate business owner, Tim is THE epitome of what Integrity looks like. I've seen him go back to finished projects to adjust thing's that really didn't need to be adjusted, but to him if he feels he could of done something better, he will. There is a reason CC&D has won Customer Service & Satisfaction awards 4 years straight, the example above is just the tip of the iceberg. He gives his services to a deserving member of the community each year, completely free, not for the recognition but because his heart is amazing. What can I say, Tim has always poured his heart and soul into his work, he takes it extremely seriously. That is not something you typically see and that's one of the reasons his company flourishes.
