We had a wonderful stay here! We were attending a wedding right up the road and traveling with my family of 8. This place was so convenient, clean, comfortable, and the owner Yohah was wonderful. It was a 5 min walk to the wedding venue which was great. The beds were very cozy, we all slept great. And Yohah was such a kind and attentive host. He made us a great breakfast both mornings, including waking up early to make sure we got coffee and food before our early departure. He also is knowledgeable about the history of Ashfield and was a wealth of information. Highly recommend staying here!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at this clean, quiet, peaceful place that was filled with history! Delightful breakfasts, too. Thank you!

We recently stayed in the Red Room at Norton Hill for our daughter's wedding at nearby Gloriosa Farm. We were delighted with the entire experience! The rooms were clean and comfortable, artfully decorated and very charming. Our host Yohah was completely accommodating to our needs, and interesting to listen to--he is very knowledgeable about the interesting history of this 1795 house. The dining room walls are painted with a mural of the Ashfield surroundings--a stunning masterpiece by itself. It was the perfect place to stay for the wedding, as we could walk back and forth in minutes. We highly recommend this lovely place.

A friend and I were in Ashfield, MA for an event. We stayed at the perfectly situated Norton Hill BnB in the Yellow Room, a huge room with two beds, sunshine yellow walls, and a pale blue wide plank floor. The house felt old in a great way, beautifully maintained, and just the right amount modernized. After a deep relaxing sleep in the very comfortable bed, I woke up to a delicious breakfast prepared by Yohah, the owner. He was kind enough to cook breakfast an hour earlier than usual and told us about some area highlights. Ashfield is a perfect jumping-off point for visits to the university towns of Amherst and Northampton. There's beautiful hiking and swimming in the local lake. This inn is a little gem in a lovely town.

The place and the grounds at Norton Hill are really special and very beautiful. If you are thinking of staying at Norton Hill you will not regret your decision. Plenty of room for a big group and the rooms are well laid out.Yohah is also an excellent host. He was respectful of our time and was very friendly when my family talked with him. He is a gifted cook and is very knowledgeable of the history of the home. I am very glad to have booked this place and I highly recommend the Norton Hill!

My spouse and I had an incredible weekend getaway at Norton hill BnB. We loved the cozy atmosphere with wood stoves burning :). The place is situated on an adorable main street next to a diner where locals hung out in the morning. Small town charm! We also enjoyed nearby hiking spots. Yoha was a gentle and kind host.

Stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend for my daughter's wedding and reception at nearby Gloriosa & Co. (another real gem!). Clean, beautiful, comfortable, amazingly quiet; though all the rooms on the second floor were occupied, I could hear nothing from my neighbors. Breakfasts at Elmer's were included, and all were excellent. Appreciated the wifi, especially in Ashfield where cell phone coverage is practically nil. Nice walk to nearby Ashfield Lake. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a minute.

I loved this place for many reasons. The beds are very comfortable, cotton sheets, lots of light, a wonderful sitting area with books of poetry, fresh cut flowers, and huge kitchen and dining room. We stayed in a room with no private bathroom so it required cooperation with the other housemates. This was not a problem but it is something to be aware of. The breakfast that comes with it at elmers across the street is phenomenal.
