Excellent!? I don’t think so. This place is a complete joke. I left my brand new dress (even with the store tag) to iron only and my husband’s dress shirt here for cleaning. When I finally went to pick them up after 1 week, I was shocked —my dress was washed without my request and completely ruined! The delicate gems were destroyed, some were missing, and my husband’s shirt had lint and stain that weren’t even there before.
And the best part? They never even bothered to call and tell me they had ruined our clothes. They just let me show up, see the damage for myself, and then had the audacity to act like it wasn’t their problem. No apology, no refund—just attitude and excuses. They charged me $32 for my delicate dress and $4 for the dress shirt (which I paid before see the stain). One of the employees called the owner after many requests and he offered to find the gems by Monday and then fix the dress (I needed my dress by the Saturday before, not by next Monday). I asked the get my $4 refund and he refused to refund me because he want to wash my husband’s shirt again which I don’t have enough time anymore.
This place is a disgrace. I have a special event to go to the next day and my new dress is destroyed. I won’t have enough time to buy a new one, I’m not planing to spend couple hundreds of dollars buying another dress. If you want your clothes destroyed and to be treated like an inconvenience, go ahead and come here. Otherwise, stay far away. They clearly have no idea what they’re doing and don’t care about their customers. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional service at EXCELLENT cleaners in Ashland.

Horribly unprofessional!! Did not communicate with me at all regarding my clothes and it took them over 2 weeks just to finish a singular blouse. They even up-charged me with no warning. These new owners ARE NOT THE SAME as the old ones and it's incredibly disappointing.

If I could give Excellent Cleaners negative stars, I would! Their services are nothing short of unprofessional and the ways in which they handle customer affairs is wildly inappropriate. I brought a pair of slacks to them to have the waist taken in about 2.5 WEEKS before needing them. A week later I get a call, not that they're done, but that I will be charged $35 for the alteration. I made it a point to strongly emphasize how urgently I needed the pants by August 7th and was reassured that they WOULD be ready by then. Come the 7th, I went in to pick them up and low and behold, the pants are not ready. Not only are they not ready, but they're not even in the store....the tailors were on vacation the week previously and hadn't had the chance to give them to Excellent Cleaners. NO ONE called me to tell me this or communicate with me before agreeing to have them ready. Unfortunately, I had to pick up the pants after my event which mind you, was 2.5 weeks after initially bringing them in. Upon finally being able to pick them up, I was up-charged to $45. I requested a discount since I had waited MUCH longer than expected AND because I was up-charged, and the best they could do for me was to take $2 off....Not only does it end here, the new seam from the alterations is horribly messy and isn't even in a straight line. I can't express enough how much I don't recommend Excellent Cleaners. PLEASE bring your clothes anywhere else!!!!

Excellent THEY ARE NOT! YOU ARE LIARS AND CHEATS. My daughter brought in a pair of dress trousers to be hemmed by 2 inches and told it would take three weeks! She brought it in for a professional event, her first, and thought she gave them enough time. Well, it was not ready because the seamstress went on vacation. How do you stay in business operating like this? We wanted to support local mom and pop businesses in our town but you're unreliable and undeserving of support.
Not to mention, when she did pick it up, they overcharged her $10 over the amount they agreed to. The best he could do was give a $2 discount. SHAME ON YOU!

Probably the best dry cleaner in Ashland. Super friendly staff! Great rates and offers expedited service, although regular service is always fast and efficient. I will definitely be back soon!

I've been going to Excellent Cleaners for years. I have been satisfied everything I've taken to them to clean; from suites, dresses, cultural and clergy clothing for dry cleaning. I highly recommend anyone in the Boston metro west to take their clothing there for dry cleaning.

I used to love this place before it was sold to the new owners who moved to Greece a few years ago. I brought in a brand new hot pink dress that was only a week old. It had a tiny spot of salad oil on it and that was all. When I went to pick up the dress, the entire dress was ruined with bleach spots everywhere. They insisted that I brought it in that way and that the garment was clearly old and just faded which was totally ridiculous!!! Why would I bother dry cleaning something that was unwearable???!!! They then proceeded to tell me that they take pictures of garments that are brought in with stains but yet they had no pics of my garment. They were rude and put off even after I showed them my receipt for the garment proving that it was only a week old. It was only after I went in there 3 times (because I had to wait till the owner was there because she wouldn’t return my calls) and threatened to call the AG and the BBB that they reluctantly reimbursed me for the dress. No apology given, only a scowel face. Never again!!

Unimpressive is probably the best way I’d describe this place. Their prices are okay, nothing great, but okay; under $20 for a suit is fine. However, their “tailoring” services are pretty bad. I dropped off a pea coat for cleaning and some button fixing. On each sleeve there were 4 little anchor buttons. One on each side got damaged and I wanted them to either replace them with similar-anchor buttons or just plain old buttons, which they said they would do when I dropped them off. So, when my wife went to pick it up (it and other items) they hadn’t even done the repairs, so they had to keep the coat, for an entire week longer. Then, when I finally picked it up, they had removed all the buttons on each sleeve (there were 4 on each) and replaced them with 3 plain buttons, and then charged me $2 for each button, which I most definitely had not asked them to do. To top it al off, the buttons they sewed on (sloppily sewed I might add), were crooked!If you need a simple dry clean for some items, this place is adequate, but I would avoid their tailoring services.
