About MetroWest Humane Society
We are located at 30 Pond Street, Ashland, MA 01721. Our visiting hours are by appointment only. As an advocate for animal welfare, the MetroWest Humane Society is focused on the well-being of cats in the MetroWest Boston Area. We strive to find loving homes for adoptable cats, to provide care for cats before adoption, and to reduce the feral/stray cat population. The MetroWest Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We accept financial donations as well as donations of pet supplies like food and litter, and day-to-day shelter supplies like cleaning products. We also have many types of volunteer positions available.

I foster cats and kittens for this group and they are truly wonderful. They really care about every single cat and focus on getting them great homes.

I adopted a cat from here. The process was easy and the staff was super helpful during the process finding a good match and setting up a visit. They were also super helpful after, helping me find a cat sitter when I needed one.
