We love Dr. Jenny and the staff. They take excellent care of our cats and the follow up is great. However, it's time to end the mask mandates and return to normal operations. We pay a lot of money for these services and I feel like a leper.

We had to put our sweet golden to sleep last week. They were all very caring and thoughtful during this traumatic experience except one. My family was gathered watching our best friend take her last breaths. We were crying and loving on her. We wore masks into the clinic and I asked if we could take them off once in the private room. I was told we could. Staff came and went and some with no mask. As my sweet dog was dying in front of us the receptionist popped in and asked us to put masks on because there were staff there that we at risk. Timing is everything. It made no sense. Maybe that staff could have stayed out of the room for two more minutes so we could grieve properly. It's April 2022.

I took my 14yo Goldendoodle to AVC for an evaluation and potentially treatment for a benign mass on the top of her head as it had started to bleed lightly at random times. Unfortunately, Dr. Siegel still believes there is a pandemic and allows only one person to accompany the dog into the office (mind you nearly every other business in the USA has masks as optional at this time), so we decided my wife would go in. Dr. Siegel decided he would freeze a 15mm spherical mass with an aerosol cryogenic spray... (oh yeah, that was AFTER HE PULLED THE SCAB THAT HAD BUILT UP FROM THE MINOR BLEEDING RIGHT OFF WITHOUT WETTING IT OR ANYTHING.) It doesn't require a degree to realize that this will not work as he intended. As you can plainly see in the images the mass is directly connected to the scalp with a very good blood supply. As would be expected, the spray burned the surface of the mass and cause it to bleed.... profusely.... basically a THIRD DEGREE BURN on my dog's scalp. What it failed to do is burn the tissue deep enough to make a meaningful impact on the amount of living tissue left.... OH YEAH and it provided a lot of trauma and pain for the dog.... for nothing.... no desirable result... and he had the gall to insist it would need MULTIPLE of these treatments! This incident proves to me he is a callous man with limited experience or applicable biometric knowledge. What a qualified veterinarian would have said is: "This mass is too big and your dog is too old and weak (heart issues) for us to do anything with it. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU LEAVE IT ALONE." Then maybe say something sweet about my dog, charge me $85 for the office visit and we'd have been on our way.... and satisfied... as I trusted him (then). What I ended up with was a dog bleeding from her scalp (see images below) who now needs antibiotics and pain management. It's been 6 hours and it's still bleeding uncontrollably (pics taken at this time). I am VERY disappointed. Though I refused to pay for the "cryo surgery"... it was only out of principle. The money meant nothing. What also hurt is that I lost trust in this man... a man I though was thoughtful and compassionate by the way he has handled previous situations I have brought to him... like euthanizing a previous dog when his pain became unbearable. Now I know your thinking... maybe he was having a bad day or Dr. Siegel was just trying to do the right thing... Well, this seems so basic to me that even I as a non-veterinarian would not have made this mistake... let alone one with 30+ years experience. I also believe that it is always best to take the most conservative approach available when treating living things medically. Though they call it practicing medicine... I do not want be experimented on nor does my dog. And oh yeah - dogs feel pain just like you and I. It should be managed accordingly.

I have a American Bully puppy that I decided to bring here. So happy I did. Talk about a place going above and beyond. Every person I have dealt with there has been beyond helpful. The Vets, the techs and everyone else has been amazing.

Wonderful people. great experience. They were good with us since max isn't good with other dogs and cats. which put me at ease since I get stressed when going to the vets with him. Glad we switched to them.

I'm giving Attleboro Vet a 2 only because of Dr Jen who I do not believe is still there. She was and us the best however over the past couple of years I no longer was getting the warm and fuzzies about them. They seem to only care about their fees and how to get them. We've had our fur baby for ten years and suddenly we were told he has had a heart murmur for quite some time unbeknownst to us and therefore was eating a incorrect diet. To say the least I am incredibly unhappy with this service

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Siegel and Dr. Nystrom for several years now and couldn't be more grateful for the entire Attleboro Vet team. Having lived elsewhere in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, we have previously taken our dogs to other vets. Attleboro Vet is the one vet clinic we really feel "gets it": from great attitudes, compassionate and expert care, thorough education, quick response time, and reasonable prices. This is the first vet's office we've experienced that checks all the boxes, and we know we've finally found our forever vets. When our beloved dog passed away earlier this year, we got not only a personal telephone call from Dr. Siegel but also a sympathy card from the entire office. Thank you all for everything you all do!

Good care but impossible to get through on their phone lines. Constantly busy. I know this is a difficult time for to the Corona virus but if you can't at least talk with someone about a sick animal because phone lines are busy, then time to go elsewhere. Made an appt at Mansfield vet who answered their phones

While I appreciate the hours this practice is open, I made the mistake of taking my dog here instead of to the er. They wouldn't let me wait inside with her because she was coughing, so we sat in my car for about twenty minutes past the appointment time to be seen. I should have turned around and gone to the er at that point. The vet who saw my dog in an emergency situation kept referring to her by the wrong pronouns and as "the animal". It's concerning to me that a medical provider doing an exam wouldn't notice that my dog was female and it really pissed me off that he wouldn't refer to her by name or at least call her my dog. His bedside manner was equally bad when he called me the next day to find out what happened when I did take her to the er (she died). He asked me what I did with her body! I do appreciate that she was given care and attention at this practice but I won't be returning.

My cat was not even a patient here. I called them in tears last week because my poor kitty was dying and needed to be put to sleep, and there was no vet on duty where I've always taken him. These folks told me to bring him right over. When we arrived we taken in immediately. The vet and the tech were incredibly kind and treated me with such compassion. I am so grateful to them for treating my boy with such tender loving care in his final moments. This is something I will never forget. When the time comes for me to get a new kitty, I will absolutely be bringing him or her to this vet. I highly recommend! Thank you

Dr. Seigel is just wonderful. He saw two of my dogs in an emergency situation. He has so much compassion to give. Never hesitate to take your animal to him, Marie

We brought our cat Rocco a few years ago with some odd symptoms. Dr Holmes (who was there at the time) went above and beyond to reach a diagnosis and prescribe effective treatment. In July, we brought Rocco to Dr. Harrington for a different issue; he was knowledgeable and thorough. It was a holiday weekend, so he suggested we go to Tufts for immediate testing. Results were not good, and we had to make a difficult decision at Tufts that night. Dr. Harrington followed up first on Rocco's test results and a second time to offer his condolences. The staff sent a hand-written sympathy card. I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Harrington is an excellent vet, and the techs and front desk staff are top notch. When we're ready, we'll be bringing our next to Attleboro Veterinary Clinic.

I just got back from the Attleboro veterinary clinic. It's my first time there and I have to say I am very very impressed. Everyone was so friendly and kind. It was pretty obvious that they liked their jobs. They were pretty busy so I guess that also speaks to their popularity. I do not live here year-round and before coming up here I took my dog to get all her shots. However, upon needing to board her, the kennel called me and told me they required an additional test that is not required in other kennels. It was a Friday when they told me this and she was supposed to be boarded on the following Monday. I frantically called around and Attleboro veterinarian clinic made room for me to come first thing in the morning. They were very accommodating. I plan on using this clinic anytime I need a vet while I'm visiting Massachusetts. Side note : Dr Harrington saw my Yorkie and Kayla was his assistant. They both were so sweet and patient with my little girl. (She can be a big baby when it comes to vet visits), even though it was crazy busy on a Saturday morning. They took the time to keep her calm, explain everything to me and make her comfortable it's possible. And then another technician came in to cut her nails. I did not get her name but she too was very patient as my dog did not want to cooperate much.

My Big Black Lab has an issue with a) being extremely overweight b) been limping on right front leg for over 4 years c) front toes in both front paws are deformed and grew sideways. He is in constant pain, just breaks my heart. FINALLY A vet Dr Smolka gave me an instant diagnosis for his 4 year long limp , his ACL is swollen and getting a ready to blow out. Now why didn't any if the OTHER vets know that????? He had been seen by at least three others from there. She also took the time to evaluate and call me immediately after she figured out a diet plan for him, so he doesn't blow his ACL. He was up to 158 pounds, he now is at 134. So progress is being made. She is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER, IM ACTUALLY CHANGING MY OTHER DOG TIKI TO HER, HE HAS ISSUES, HE WAS SEVERELY ABUSED. SHE SAID SHE WOULD LIVE TO MEET HIM . SHE IS AWESOME

**UPDATE** to the review below: My husband took Bella to Tufts in Walpole per the rude lady April telling him "take her to Tufts then" when he complained about 55.00 for a recheck after a week that had went by since they saw her. I'm attaching what my husband texted me, in regards to their dermatologist Dr. Abrams (who obviously only deals with skin) says. Paperwork from Tufts attached. The look of Bella's skin can mimic both a yeast and a bacterial infection -so you can't go by the "look" alone. Which this clinic did. The irony is they were told what Tufts did in 2016 and they didn't do any testing. But Tufts did say to differentiate between bacterial and fungal you'd have to do skin testing as she did. Something this place didn't do. She agreed Apoquel or any other anti itch should have been used because she saw irritation from itching but as I noted in my review I told this place on two follow up calls that she was itching. She decided on a shot because Apoquel can have some side effects with platelets the longer it's utilized which I know. I'm not new to this, which is why I stated in my initial review that if you know your own dog, go with your gut instinct. We spent well over 100 here at this clinic for Tufts to see that it indeed got worse because it was bacterial. If your dog has skin conditions- as I stated before - just spend the higher price and go to Tufts because you're going to spend a lot with a regular vet trying to figure it out. Additionally when you write reviews, the owner gets upset and will continually hound you as he did my husband- he called 5 times my husband said to his cell. What does the owner expect when his OWN workers tell you to go to Tufts? Yet they didn't do the work up they were sent in 2016 from Tufts. If you look at the bill today -Tufts charged less for a recheck from our last visit in 2016. They could have easily charged full price because it's been almost 3 years since her last episode, but they didn't.
