Wow. For such a wonderful building, this post office is absolutely atrocious. The carriers misbehave going out of their way to cause unnecessary delays. Actually bad people operating this place.

Mail has been delivered once in the past two weeks on my street, by a substitute driver. Postmaster Deslairiers was unaware the regular carrier was avoiding Route 1 due to construction near CVS (and Deslairiers thought Route 1 was Newport Avenue.) A complaint has been filed with the Boston district to investigate. So much for the mail carriers' creed. UPDATE: Mail has finally been delivered after 2-1/2 weeks. Postmaster Don thanked me for my FB post and review. He forgot about the formal complaint made to the Boston district.

Worst experience of my life. I've been waiting for almost 15 minutes with NO ONE at the customer service desk! There are 6 people waiting in line with me.The only agent is helping with passports.Passports should be banned from the post office

I ordered a package and I needed to sign but the day I needed to sign I wasn't there. So they gave me their slip to re deliver it. So I go on their website and I choose to do pickup. Cause I needed that package for that day. And when I go there, they tell me my package isn't there and they don't know where it is. I show them the email confirmation about the pickup and they say they can't do anything about it. So when I get back home I get on my computer and recheck. And it says it's still at the post office. But It can't be dropped off until 8 pm tomorrow. And it's really annoying when this happens to something you need. If it's at the post office why didn't they allow me to pick it up

They mistakenly changed the lock on my mailbox instead of the next door neighbors. Then even though it was their fault it took them two weeks to fix it. Meanwhile my mail is being held at Pleasent Steet. They assured me after the new key was made I would get my mail delivered. Still no mail. Then I see the mailman at the box one day and ask him about it. He tells me my mail is still being held and he would bring it by on Saturday (yesterday). Yesterday he says he forgot my mail. I felt like bursting into tears. I've been calling Pleasent Street and was assured my mail would come. Now there's a new mailman on Monday and I have to go to work before they open. My bills are late ? My confidence in the post office is down to zero.

Every time I stop in they are very friendly and helpful. I always drop off my mail just to talk to the people behind the counter.

Is there a single person that works here who doesn't have an attitude all the time? Ya'll are miserable and I will make special trips you avoid you. Do you go out of your way to ruin peoples days or does it just come naturally?

So many years of problems with this PO.Mostly the carriers are brainless..well today they outdid themselves. Carrier leaves pink slip two days ago . Claims they can’t find a place to leave it (lie) .I sign the slip to authorize the release. I even left other options to leave the package. Nope ! what does the carrier do. Put the pink slip back in my mailbox. also the wrong slip with the wrong PO to pick it up at .So I had to drive across town to the correct one after going to the wrong one . Come on guys we can do better . Desperate times = non quality hires. Why am I doing your job . Can’t buy common sense . ??♂️

By far the worst experience I have ever had at any post office, or any establishment for that matter. The employees here are extremely disrespectful and rude, seeming to get pleasure out of belittling customers. If you can avoid coming here I would at all costs. If you can't avoid it, be ready to leave feeling depressed.

This is such a good neighborhood post office. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful. Not sure about the reviews that post otherwise. They’re wrong (the negative reviews about staff). Staff is sweet and happy to help. So clean and good smelling (the post office). You can really smell the cardboard and paper. Cool stamps. The way the sunlight comes in the windows makes it really nice and bright. Not too bright, you can still write addresses and such on pieces of paper and boxes you bring or buy without having to squint. But definitely not dark and dingy. Just the right amount of light. Oh and they have boxes you can buy if you’re into that sort of thing. Same with envelopes, but usually when I go into the post office for an envelope-type-of-situation, I brought it with me. But you never know what you need, and that’s another reason this is such a good post office. The staff are super knowledgeable about different types of envelopes and boxes. They can also help you buy specific types of stamps if you’re working on building a stamp collection. And if you decide you want to mail your stamp collection to a friend, you’re already in the right place. Although you may find yourself in that specific instance needing an envelope, and so you can get that there as well. Good smelling envelopes and glue that doesn’t taste bad when you lick it. If you come after hours they make it super convenient to put your envelope in an after hours mailbox by putting the mailbox near the parking lot. They also have those cute little mail trucks buzzing around.

This is a fabulous local post office! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure that each person is given the time and attention they need to be helped. We moved into a new construction neighborhood and had to have our mail held at the post office, until our mailboxes were put in a year later. Each time I went to the post office to get our mail, they were prompt and thorough. I am disabled, and the staff would always offer to help me take my mail, and packages to my car. Pat, our fantastic mail carrier, personally delivered the keys for our mailbox to our house, when the new boxes were ready. We’re so grateful to have this post office so close by!
