I originally went to monro auto services for an oil change/ tire rotation. My simple request for an oil change and tire rotation, soon turned into me needing an air filter, new brakes and rotars for my rear end and new pads for my front brakes. The amount of money I would have to spend, kept increasing more and more as I sat in the waiting room. After being told I "needed" these things, I called my mom who promptly told me to "stop them from what they are doing, and run". Trusting my mother completely, I did exactly what she told me to do. Later on that evening, I returned home to my boyfriend who previously had been a mechanic for many years. He proceeded to look at myair filter and told me "I can see right through this air filter. You don't need a new one yet". He also looked at my front and back brakes and said "these brakes won't need to be done for another 3 or 4 pil changes". After being told that I don't need ANYTHING that these so called "professionals" said that I did, I was in shock and livid with the fact that I almost paid roughly under a GRAND for those things to be done. Upon leaving, I soon learned that my oil change and tire rotation was 106$ which is INSANELY overpriced! These men will do anything to overcharge and undervalue their customers! Don't go here.

Im usually a bit skeptical of these type of shops but I have always had a good experience at this location. It had been a little while since I had been here but went this week for an oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment over the phone for the same day and got taken on time. Everyone was friendly and professional. I usually mark a tire to make sure they get rotated but I could see the guys in the bay doing the work and they did everything they were supposed to including torquing the lug nuts rather than overtightening them with the pneumatic gun. They let me now what other work my car would need relatively soon and what services they offered but didn’t try to push me to let them do the work.

I was traveling from RI to Western Massachusetts when I picked up a steel spike in my rear tire. Monro was the closest, I called and he said he could get me in within an hour. I made a few more calls around and decided to head there. The tire was holding enough pressure to get me there. He took in in right away. Angel, I'm assuming was the manager. They pulled the spike and the damage was too large for a plug, they pulled the wheel off, unmounted the tire, patched it from the inside and got me back on the road in 45 minutes. Angel could have easily gouged me, or sold me a new tire. He charged me $33 and change. This is an honest individual. Thank you, Angel, you live up to your name.

I visited Monro In Auburn, MA back in May to have four tires put on. A few days after the change i noticed the rear tires consistently deflating thus requiring me to re-inflate them every few days. This was very annoying and unsafe for me and the lifespan of the tires to be running low PSI constantly. They likely have not worn correctly as a result.I later returned to Monro again to have the leaks fixed. The gentleman then explained to me that the employees that had changed my tires failed to change the valve stems due to them being “disgruntled” and had been slacking off. He also explained to me how those folks no longer work there.Even after the leaks had allegedly been fixed again, The tires continued to leak and still needed to reinflate my tires (this is months at this point).About 10 days ago I finally was able to get back out to the shop and a Gentleman named Nathaniel actually showed some accountability and repaired the leaks properly. He also apologized for the prior service issues. While this was appreciated, This was by far the worst service i have ever received from an auto repair shop, and its not particularly close. In total, I visited Monro on five separate occasions…There are only four tires on the car. Just unacceptable, I will not return to Monro and i will forever advise anyone I know to avoid these shops.

Got an oil change, which is getting more and more expensive everywhere (reason to learn how to do it yourself, not me though because I am excellent at finding other “more important things” to do. Anyways, the tech noticed that my oil filter was was not compatible with the oil filters they had on hand, and showed me in detail the differences so I understood. Then they removed the price for the filter and service without me having to ask about it. My tech was Chris, he was very honest and supportive. I really appreciated their approach to the situation and our solution forward. This is my second time here, and though I will be on the look out for any discount coupons in the future, I will def be coming back. Honesty is worth every penny at the end of the day. Shout out to N. Martinez too, didn’t get your first name, but you did a great job with the customer service side, good communication. Thanks guys!

I can't comment on quality of actual work performed, because they couldn't be reached. No one answered phone calls for 2 days so I made an appointment online for a wheel alignment. I decided to try them because they are open later in the day that many other places. Seemed easy enough (and that was my only option to contact anyone besides going in person) and received email confirmations, but when I arrived the young man had no appointment noted and said they're not doing that service today. Apparently the online portal is of no use. Unprofessional and a waste of time.

Got an appointment online for an oil change and state inspection - even received text confirmations. Arrived at 8 am for my appointment (the location opened at 7:30 am) and not only was there no tech there, they do not do state inspections. I waited 30 mins and no one arrived to dot he oil change so I left. Would not recommend.

The folks that work there are really awesome. We went yesterday and got both cars done and they were super helpful with other little repairs, showing me what to do, going above and beyond. It’s nice to be able to trust someone when you don’t know too much when it comes to your vehicles. We’ll definitely be going back from now on. We really appreciate your hospitality. Thank you again guys!

the owner fired the mechanic in front of me.I asked to change the oil in my car and the owner showed up as soon as the mechanic put my car on the lift, and started making the mechanic sell me extra services. the mechanic was super nice to me but the owner was very rude to the mechanic! I immediately asked to take my car down from the elevator without doing the service and I will never go back there. rude owner! I do not recommend!!!

Pulled in 45min before closing for an oil change. The clerk told me it would have to be full synthetic, i agreed, but no prices were declared. When it was done, 15-20 minutes later i asked if they rotated the tires in that time, this is adverrised as free with full synthetic oil change, it was not done...The bill, 114$?!The clerk took 10$ upon my disapproval, which I thanked him for.104$ oil change and u skipped all the "free" inspections!?I will include the price breakdown in an image, they charged me 78$ for 4.6 quarts of Valvoline advanced full synthetic motor oil 0W20, 5quarts directly from Valvoline costs 37$(free shipping)and 16$ for, from what I can tell, an 8$ oil filter (FP6607BP)
