Customer service was excellent. Never had to argue about about returns and the employees knew how to accommodate any of my needs. Excellent job done by amazing, helpful people.

Poor customer service from the manager on duty who spoke to me like I was trying to steal from him.Had an eBay drop off, a large package containing a couple of thin aluminum sheets that was surprisingly light for its size.Manager LITERALLY SCOFFED at my slip generated on an estimate of 20lbs and informed me he was weighing it and I’d have to pay more if it was over (umm… duh?). It was… by a couple of pounds, no big deal. It’s literally your (the post man) job to do things like weigh a package and adjust shipping labels. Like most people, I don’t have a fancy scale specifically for weighing packages just hanging around the house. I know that when I drop it off there might be an adjustment; that’s how shipping things works and has worked for a really long time.Don’t scoff at me and talk to me like I’m trying to steal from you because you ASSUME that I’m trying to cheat on shipping. Home boy hadn't even touched my package yet and I find it hard to believe he has X-ray vision to see what’s inside and judge the weight without touching it.I hate to give the post office a bad rating after everything it’s been through in the past couple of years, but treating a customer with immediate hostility is a poor business model, especially when you’re the manager.Sent from my iPhone

Weird to review a post office but I had to go here four times one week and do some complicated mailing regime (I know very odd) and they were very nice and accommodating and helpful. Not a typical post office experience

The staff at Auburn Post Office are consistently refined, professional and friendly to every customer. Today I observed a very rude customer address one of the staff and the supervisor and then huff off and they were very respectful despite her demeanor and unsavory language.Keep Up the wonderful work! You are appreciated in Auburn.

I could not find a box that was small enough so I asked for some help and one of the workers found a box that they had gotten supplies in and offered it to me. They also gave me free shipping supplies and were extremely helpful.

You should update your hours online, it says open till 5PM but then on your door there is a sign that says closes at 4PM. Was frustrating not knowing that going into a Holiday weekend.

There was a big and extremely rude woman there the few times I've gone to have mail sent out to family. The main reason I will not use the auburn post office again.

My international parcel was meant to have been delivered since two days ago. Mail man brought the parcel and refused to drop it indicating that a signature is required. I boldly stated that there are no restricted delivery options. Even when I rescheduled next day delivery, I again indicated that no signature is required, Parcel should be dropped off at my doorstep since no one will be at home. Mail man again refused to drop my parcel, left a note on my instruction which he printed stating I need to pick up my parcel at the post office because signature is required. Who requested for signature? My instruction is binding. If I say no signature required, why are they insisting on signature? It’s not a registered mail. They are food items and can be perishable which I indicated. Parcel has been in transit for over 3 weeks already. Does the mail man understand English or is he just being naive?

The worst I had a priority envelope delivered to my house the Male carrier threw it on the ground instead of putting in the mailbox . I ordered special decals for my sister who passed away and they are ruined because of the carrier not putting them in the maillbox and it poured so everything was soaked not I'm out the money for these due to the carrier's actions of being lazy nice service post office.

I never thought i would review a post office but here i go. I have had many misdeliveries since i moved to auburn. ALOT to the point i decided to use amazon pick up locations for my xmas gifts. but one package could not be left there. And it was delivered to another home. I called the post office really upset and in my mind i wasnt getting it back as in the past. WELL Michael got off the phone put his coat on , braved the cold and went to where it was delivered and delivered it to me personally and explained what happend. I couldnt have been more grateful and happy about this as this was a christmas gift and i never would have been able to file a claim, get my money back and reorder before christmas. thank you Michael i hope you have the happiest christmas. The staff is OK. Their is just one guy that is not friendly at all. He is tall and skinny. Also has gray hair I think. He works at the front desk on the right side of the counter. My right but his left. He is very lazy and disrespectful. If he were to be fired then this would get 5 stars. Also hours are terriable.
