The Cove is a less known treasure and a good spot for families. It features a playground, a fairly large sand pit with construction vehicles for kids, and picnic tables with grills. There are shady walking and biking trails, including a great loop for dogs. For recreation, it offers pickleball and tennis courts, geocaching, and easy fishing in the cove on the river. The park is well-maintained and provides a great atmosphere with a great view. It has lots of room, a great picnic area, and restrooms. It is a great place for picnics and to spend an evening during spring, summer, and fall.
