Had me wait an hour from my scheduled time with no notice (all while building my dogs anxiety and anticipation of what was about to come) Only to tell me they can’t do the vaccines because she was too excited. Waste of time.

The Avon location is one of my favorites! My dog absolutely loves all the technicians. They are all so gentle and loving to the animals. It’s the small things that count and they get it.

Usually I would leave 5/ stars but I was disappointed on a separate canine influenza vaccine that is not a core vaccine, charged at $55.00 and then a disposal charge of $5.99 to throw the syringes out?..That’s expensive, I did not feel that this was any savings at all from my vet as I could have gotten the vaccination at vet for less than $45, had I known I would have gone to vet instead but close to my pets due date & I was already here!.
Somewhat annoyed.. 😑 What prevented this from getting less than 3/ stars is the EXCEPTIONAL service from Dr Hiickey & her team that always always answer my questions with patience & compassion. I appreciate that!.

Thankful for this location. At our prior location the vet did not show up that day. We were able to get an appointment at the Avon location. The team there was amazing.

It was nice even though this was the first time I was never in the rm with my pet it went well. I was very happy that there were no big dog in the store .

I brought 2 kittens in for their 1st visit. They were seen promptly. The veterinarian was very informative about what was she was doing, their vaccinations, overall appearance next appointment scheduling. Informative on how to collect stool samples. What to look for in reactions to shots given. Overall very good experience.

the vet and her workers were very nice , i have a very difficult shih tzu and they took their time time to get her comfortable and work with her. it is ver much appreciated!

I've been going to Petco in Avon for years. I'd say half the.time the employees are border line rude and it's obvious they don't want to be there. And by the.time I'm done shopping, neither do I. Are they being.mistreated and underpaid? Or do they just hate customers? Who knows? Time to spend my money in a place that doesn't smell like old piss and treats me with a tiny bit of respect.

I probably have the friendliest 6m old kitten to ever exist. He has been used to his carrier since I adopted him at 8 weeks. I've never even heard him hiss. I brought him in to get his nails trimmed at the grooming salon and the two women working ripped him out of his carrier by the (very little) scruff he has on his neck. He puffed his fur up to show he was uncomfortable (which he didn't even do when he received shots at this same location's Vetco service) and they cut all of his nails with very little care in under a minute. I watched one of the women brush a Persian cat so roughly it seemed like his eyes were bulging out of his head. I would be extremely uncomfortable if my cat was being brushed like that at the groomers without me knowing. Over priced, rushed, and not gentle. We won't be returning
