The older lady who works the counter is rude and extremely unprofessional. As a federal employee she has to be worst that I have ever experienced. She was not helpful. She tried to charge me almost 10$ for a bubbler with paper in it. She told me that if it bends it can't go first class and has to be priority. She told me that my papers didn't qualify for media mail either.I literally had to go back outside, open my package, and stuff a CD case inside so that the package would t Bend and I would be charged 4.75:rather than nearly 10$ priority mail. This lady needs some training

I just tried to go to the post office for the first time. The older woman working (Saturday 7/9/22 at 11:12am) was completely rude and unprofessional and laughed at us when we said we needed labels and we didn’t know the timing difference between priority and regular. I have never felt more belittled in my life.

Living in an apartment. Ayer Usps apparently doesn't deliver if your name is not on the mailbox. But there is no way of knowing this beforehand. So i missed several important pieces of mail that were supposedly returned to sender. Though one of the senders claims they never got it. I've lived in numerous apartments and never had my name on the mailbox, only the number. So i don't know why Ayer Usps is different. I gave them two stars instead of one because the person i talked to on the phone was polite in explaining all this. Still a very stressful experience.

BEWARE: Someone who works here is a thief and also they damaged our packages. And it's nearly impossible to get any person or supervisor on the phone. We live in an apartment complex with locked mailboxes which only the mail delivery person/carrier has a key to. We received an item in a envelope/mailer that was clearly cut open and the contents were stolen. This was inside our LOCKED mailbox, therefore only the carrier and post office had access to it. They would have seen it was open, but made no notice of it to us. We contacted them and they did not communicate properly with each other, because when we called back and asked to speak to a supervisor, the supervisor had no knowledge of our recent complaint even though we asked it to be escalated. Since it was a small package, there was no tracking number, we therefore had no way to make a formal case.Second issue. Today (Saturday) a small box was CRAMMED into our locked mailbox. I couldn't get it out for about 10 minutes of pulling and trying. I eventually had to rip it open and drag the rest out damaging the box. I will be putting a formal complaint through on my own time. There is even a locker in our mailbox location for larger packages to be put into, and then a key to them is left in the regular mailbox, but that was not done here. It would have taken a lot of force for them to cram it into our regular box so I know they knew it didn't fit. Whoever is scheduled to do our mail is clearly negligent and even malicious. Avoid using this post office at all cost.

Each time I visit the APO for stamps or mailing packages I am impressed by how little time I wait in line. I'm observing the attendants at the window dealing with customers before me to be professional, efficient and courteous. If a customer in front of me has an especially complicated request, the attendant will ask them to step aside and wait, so they can assist the next customer in line. I thank them for the COVID-19 update of the retail space with plexiglass, signage, covered payment machines , masks and sanitizer.

Honestly the worst. They mark packages “no access” when there is no lock on the doors to my building. Laziness.

Has got to be the worst post office in America. The younger man at the help desk is absolutely horrible, slow and very unpleasant. He seems to be unhappy with his job and shouldn't be working in customer service. Do yourself a favor and find a nearby PO. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Not sure how many stars should go to an operation where there are just TOO MANY workers who are lackadaisical and inattentive. Although they do have some very competent workers, management doesn't do much to rectify the problem with the incompetent ones. Have tried prior to call the problem to their attention by going in there in person. But still the problem persists. Hence my 1 star review with OPEN public complaint.
