Maritime art and Asian art seem to be two areas of specialty, and their last sales of scrimshaw and netsuke were eye-opening experiences for me even as a non-buyer. They’ve never failed to return a call or answer the most left-field or arbitrary question, and they’ve helped me appraise items locally that I’d otherwise have to drive to Boston with. The staff are friendly and they know what they’re doing, and they’ve been very flexible with me when I’ve failed to pick purchases up on time.”
